Vhong Navarro has learned his lesson the hard way. Vhong Navarro said what happened to him is a wake up call to remain loyal to his girlfriend, Tanya Winona Bautista. Vhong Navarro, in a one on one interview with Julius Babao for his afternoon public affairs program Bistado, said: “If there’s one thing I learned from this incident. It’s the value of loyalty to a wife or a girlfriend. This is a wake-up call for me.” Bistado had one of the very first coverage of the Vhong Navarro-Deniece Cornejo saga.

Vhong Navarro was released from St. Luke’s Medical Center and then directly proceeded to the Department of Justice (DOJ) to re-affirm his complaint against the group of Cedric Lee and Deniece Cornejo before Assistant State Prosecutor Hazel Valdez. The first preliminary investigation on the charges filed by both opposing parties has been set on February 14, where Navarro’s two witnesses have been ordered to appear. A second hearing is scheduled on February 21.

Vhong Navarro thanked those who continue to support him amid the controversies. “Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nagdarasal, sa lahat nang nagpapalakas ng loob ko, maraming maraming salamat po,” he said. Photo credits: Julius Babao.
