Bong Revilla

Sen. Bong Revilla

Sen. Bong Revilla, Jr. hosted a thanksgiving lunch for the entertainment press recently. In the course of the luncheon, Bong Revilla made a makabagbag-damdaming speech, a straight from the heart speech wherein he said na lugmok na lugmok na sya pero babangon sya sa tulong ng Diyos at ng mga nagmamahal sa kanya.

Bong Revilla also disclosed that he will make a privilege speech at the Senate on Jan. 20, 2014 to defend himself from accusations that he is involved with Janet Napoles and the PDAF and pork barrel scams.

Before you conclude that the Senator just turned to the Bible because of his involvement in the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) and Pork Barrel controversies, husband and wife actor-politicians Sen. Bong Revilla and Rep. Lani Mercado even before, have been attending Bible studies for they are both Born-again Christians.

In his speech for the entertainment press, Bong said he now turned to reading the Bible more and every word of God contained in it, he now carefully contemplates and heartily feel. He said he became closer to God now after all the pork barrel scams that hounded him in 2013.
