BlackBerry Z10? Wait for Samsung Galaxy S4 Instead

BlackBerry Z10

BlackBerry Z10

I don’t understand all the hype on the BlackBerry Z10. It was finally launched here in the Philippines today in Whitespace, Makati City (We were not invited). BTW, that is definitely not the reason why we are not buying the BlackBerry Z10 hype but its price point in the Philippines of Php29,990. (Sorry, I can afford more than that if you will bitch about if I can afford it!). I’d rather spend a few more for the Samsung Galaxy S4 than on a smartphone that would have been fit if it is 2012. (LOL, I know that was harsh, but I can’t just help it!). Or better yet, just hold on to your iPhone 5. Anyway, if you love the Blackberry brand and is loyal to it, then this phone is for you. Take a look at its pretty respectable specs below:

BlackBerry Z10 Specs:

1.5GHz Dual Core Krait CPU Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon Chipset
Adreno 225 GPU
16GB Internal Storage, expandable via microSD up to 32GB
4.2-inches capacitive touchscreen 1280×768 resolution (~356ppi, higher than iPhone 5)
8.0-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, and BlackBerry 10 Camera software
Can record video 1080p@30fps with video stabilization
2.0-megapixel front-facing camera
NFC, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS with AGPS Support
1800mAh Battery (could be the deal-breaker)
BlackBerry OS 10 (better late than never!)

The BlackBerry Z10 will be officially out in the Philippines on March 19, 2013 and will be offered by Smart and Globe on their postpaid plans. (Note: This subsidized plans could be more affordable and tolerable.)
