Wowowee Wilyonaryo fined for fraud

This is the aftermath of that whole “Joey De Leon explain before you complain” and Willie Revillame crying brouhaha that happened on national TV. Back in January, the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) absolved the noontime show Wowowee from any irregularity resulting from its Wilyonaryo segment (Check out the video and transcript in that Wilyonaryo link). On the other hand, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) NCR filed an Administrative case against ABS-CBN as per a fact finding panel have recommended. The fact finding panel was composed of the Consumer Welfare Trade Group, Bureau of Trade Regulation Cosumer Protection, representatives from MTRCB, KBP, and a consumer organization Nationwide Association of Consumers.
ABS-CBN, in January has released this statement:
On Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) formally released the results of its investigation and found ABS-CBN guilty of the irregularity in the Wowowee Wilyonaryo segment and ordered ABS-CBN to pay P290,000 in fines and with an execution of written undertaking. This is what in part is the dispositive portion of the 11 page judgment by the DTI:
“A reasonable assessment of the existing game mechanics and procedures implemented at the time of the subject 20 August 2007 Wilyonaryo episode reveals that the game show segment allowed a reasonable likelihood of error and provided the host and organizers significant latitude in controlling the outcome of the contest.â€Â
Parang sinabi na rin ng DTI na Mandaraya ang WOWOWEE. Kahit na piso lang ang singil nila pag-amin pa din yun dba. Its not the amount its the admittance of guilt.
Wowowee deserves that. dapat tanggalin na yang show na ere. walang naidudulut na magandang values sa bayan. particularly yung host.
dapat lang yan sa ksnila kasi lagi naman silang nanggagaya ng segment.kasi gusto nila makuha ang rating kaya sa pandadaya na lang sila umaasa na makuha ang rating dapat whawha na lang ang show nila

MANDARAYA ANG WOWOWEE WAG NA PABULAG YUN IBA JAN!
i don’t believe na nandaya….kasi minsan nga parang ibinibigay na nila yung premyo lalo na kung nakakaawa yung mga contestants……..we should not be judgemntal, in any shows nagkakaron ng pagkakamali. At least kung may pagkakamali man sa props na ginamit hindi sinadya…..i’d rather watch wowowee….na aminado sa kung anumang pagkakamali sa props. kesa naman manood ako ng mga programa na ang mga hosts ay walang ginagawa kundi ang manlait ng mga tao na akala mo kung sinong guwapo……..walang ginawa kundi ang magsalita ng magsalita against sa katapat na program……We are all Filipinos, wag sanang Crab mentality…….dapat healthy competition lang…huwag magalit kung nalampasan ng wowowee ang program ng eat bulaga.
si tandang JOey kasi inggit na ingit sa tinatamasang magandang rating ng Wowowee, hindi sya makapaniwala na yung dati nyang sidekick ang sumipa sa Eat Bulaga pababa. kasing butas ng mukha ni Joey ang kaluluwa nya, kasing baho ng hininga nya yung ugali nyang bulok. ABS panalo
Im not a fan of the show and the hosts but lets just be fair and open for the fact that the show has helped a lot of people..It may have its flaws but who doesnt have? Kanya kanyang style yan at pandaraya in some ways yung lang wag ka papabuking. kaya nga lalo nagtatagal at sumisikat ang show kasi dami bumabatikos….pinoy fairy tale story yan the more na apihin the more na mamahalin at kakaawaan ng tao.. Let the people decide and see whats going on. Hindi naman kayo pinpilit manuod ng show or sumali..Kahit sabihin mo may nagawang kasalanan yung show still meron din nagawang mabuti sa ibang tao.:)

Well, no man is an island, We are not a perfectionist every body we learned by mistake.Well life is too short we need to be fair I'm not fan of wowowee i'ts a show people want thier out let fun ,cause if they stays home what tv show ? i'ts boring so, therefore we live one life only there's no such thing as two.. life is good people need people.
