Willie Revillame in a very emotional address to Wowowee’s studio audience and the general televiewers, shared his true feelings about the “Wilyonaryo” controversy and Joey de Leon’s incessant remarks about the issue. Watch the video below.
“Hindi po ako nandadaya. Kung naniniwala kayo na nandadaya ako, iwanan n’yo po ako, iwanan n’yo kami dito.”
“Kahit may sakit ako, kahit kung ano-ano nararamdaman ko, e pinipilit kong tumayo para sa inyo. Sa mga taong may sakit, kayo lang iniisip ko, off-cam, kahit walang camera, ano ginagawa namin dito? Tumutulong pa rin kami!”
Willie’s frustration was evident as he addressed Joey and the frequent remarks of the latter concerning the scandal. The exasperation of his voice showed how irritated he was with Joey.
“Ikaw na ang bida, ikaw na ang number one, sa iyo na ang ratings, ikaw na! Sige, Eat Bulaga! na ang number one! “Ako nagsimula ako sa Channel 7. “Ni wala akong sinabi ni isang salita na masama sa Channel 7…kaya malaki utang na loob ko sa Channel 7, diyan ako nagsimula. Sana Joey, katulad ko nagsisimula, katulad ko na humahanga sa iyo, ginagabayan mo.”
As the Wowowee audience cheered and his co-hosts Mariel Rodriguez and Valerie Concepcion stood beside him, Willie called out to ABS-CBN big bosses Gabby Lopez and Charo Santos-Concio, saying that he was sorry.
He also asked forgiveness of the audience. “Pasensya na ho kayo, hindi ko naman gusto, e. Sobra na ho, e. Sa inyong lahat, kung tatanggalin n’yo ako dito, tatanggapin ko po ‘yon. Pasensiya na po kayo, humihingi ako ng tawad sa inyo.
“Sasabihin ko po nang harapan, hindi po ako nandaya. Hindi ko po magagawang mandaya. Dahil lagi ko po iniisip ang kapakanan ninyo,” Willie confidently said.
His last words to Joey: “Ganunpaman, Mr. Joey de Leon, nirerespeto pa rin kita. Huwag mong hintayin na mawala respeto ko.”
Dahil personalan na, eto ako ang mga kaso ko acts of lasciviousness lang, ikaw Joey alam ng lahat na mas malala pa jan.”
All these Willie said but i doubt some sincerity while Willie was “crying.” Ni hindi nga namula ang ilong niya at walang sipon na tumulo. Ni hindi nya nga kinailangan na tangalin ang salamin niya dahil sa dami ng patak ng luha niya kuno.

joey should just shut his mouth cause he was never involved in the first place. it’s wowowee and abs-cbn’s problem and he should continue whatever he’s doing and let whomever is involve deal with the situation. sure he’s entitled to his own opinion, but he knew if he talked it would bring controversy and now the problem is getting bigger when it doesn’t need to. what’s done is done, there’s nothing else you can do and bringing it up repeatedly isn’t going to resolve matters quicker. maybe it was a mistake or maybe they are cheating, but we’re not behind the scenes so the public can only take willie’s side for what it’s worth.

Willie is clearly lying, theres no point of acquitting him of the charges regarding the stampede. Siya ang nag hikayat na pumunta ang mga tao, ngayon absuwelto siya… YUng sa game it was clear they cheated, the excuse of ABSCBN stating that the game was new and has glitches is pathetic, People’s dreams and hopes are at stake and they say its a mistake… Stop the concept of making people act stupid so they can have some pesos and a few dollars. People are making a fool of themselves just to be in the show… Now they are being cheated. Willie should hang himself if he is sincere of what he is saying, set an example,.. punish himself…
well for me, joey is really taking everything personally. He should just do his job. I never heard wowowee saying bad things about joey .. but joey seems to make it his everyday habbit to say something bad about the other station … joey as an old man knows where to put himself and not act as ignorant loser
Its a big glitch talaga. Prone na prone kasi talaga yung kagamitan nila sa pagkakamali. They should reformat it.
The issue with Joey De Leon. Ano ba kayo, MTRCB nga di na siya pinapatulan kasi nga its his style of entertainment. Para namang di na dati pang nangangantiyaw si Joey. Sa pagkatagal-tagal ngayon pa nainis si Willy. So parang sinasakyan na lang ang issue para mapag-usapan. Tama na yung ipaliwang mo ang side mo at wag nang mag side comment like saying “malaki respeto ko sa ‘yo at huwag mong hinatayin na mawala respeto ko sa ‘yo”. Parang napaka-childish naman.
Pero sa issue I stand on the side of willy. Nobody is perfect right. But as a host, dapat magaling kang sumalo sa mga technicalities lalo na at live ang show.

@victormanalo, I think what Joey did was a good thing because we got an answer (a dodgy answer) from the management and executives of ABS-CBN.
We watch Wowowee only because my father-in-law likes to watch it and we have noticed a lot of irregularities and mistakes regarding the conduct of Pera o Bayong before. I’ve emailed abs-cbn many times about what I’ve noticed but never got a response thus nothing happened.
In this case, it’s good we have a Joey de Leon because if not then we would have never received an explanation from ABS-CBN.
