Wowowee host Willie Revillame checked in on Sunday at the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City where he reportedly underwent an angiogram procedure to determine if he would need to go through angioplasty. An angioplasty surgery aims to unclog obstructed blood vessels that could cause a stroke or a heart attack. Hence, the telling absence of the Philippines most famous noontime fare host from Wowowee. In his absence, Wowowee felt like it only stands because of Willie Revillame. The noontime show lacked the zest and glee it exudes when Willie is around instead the pinch hitting hosts they got instead of Willie failed to step onto Willie’s shoes. It felt like there was a void on the show.
Back to Willie’s health, friends of the noted host-comedian is assuring his numerous fans that Willy Revillame is alright. They said Willie Revillame will be staying at the St. Luke’s Medical Center for the next two weeks to rest. The hospital stay is a bit overdue because in August 2008, in a routine Executive Checkup, a clogged blood vessel has been discovered that could prove fatal. Willie’s doctors advised him to a one-month rest but Willie failed to do because of the hectic life of hosting a daily noontime show.
Willie’s Wowowee co-hosts Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion and Pokwang all wished Willie a speedy recovery.

Hi Willie,
I just want to say, no one will take care of Willie but Willie. Take care of yourself man. It’s sad to say but if ever, anything happens to you (God forbids), ABS-CBN will just get someone to replace you and the show will move on. I know that you love your job but we only have one life to live and we should cherish it.

Pareng Willie.. magpagaling ka dahil pano na yong mga dise-nwebe anyosin natin d’yan hehe! At saka wala yan.. malayo sa bituka yan! Pero teka.. delikado rin nga pala dahil sa tingin ko malapit nga sa bituka.. mga six to eight inches lang nga pala ang layo! Tsk tsk sundin mo na lang payo ng doktor!

in the first place bakit ang laki nang issue na naospital si tuta baka naman dapat sa kanya yan para maisip niya lahat ang kanyang kasalanan bawasbasan kasi niya ang yabang niya baka yan pa ang dahilan nang pagkakasakit niya kung si Francis m o si Elly buendia maraming affected at nalungkot ang tanong sino ka ba?
