The KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez hit movie, “When I Met U” was the perfect movie date on Valentines Day. It raked in approximately P25 Million Pesos on Hearts Day. The worldwide film industry’s official movie box-office returns tabulator, Box Office Mojo, is reporting that it has grossed so far, $686,668, or approximately P32.5 Million, from Feb. 11-15, 2009. When I Meet U averaged $9,810 per theater, and is showing in at least 70 theaters all throughout the Philippines. Cineplexes in the Philippines adds more theaters when a movie does well at the box-office, so the number of screens could increase as originally reported.
Regal Entertainment and GMA Films co-produced When I Meet U and both movie outfits are happy about the movie’s box-office results saying it has exceeded their expectations. When I Met U is directed by awardwinning director Joel Lamangan. Supporting cast members Iya Villania and Alfred Vargas meanwhile are getting rave reviews over their performance on the film.
Meanwhile, the Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual starrer, Love Me Again, has grossed $1,414,748, or P66.8 Million so far in its 5 weeks of being in the cinemas.

Ano ba yan, ang press release first day gross 10M(feb. 11) then nong valentines day(feb. 14) 25M..a total of 35M? d pa kasali jyan ang beb. 12, 13-15. Eh ang sa BOM feb. 11-15..32M lang? GMA at Regal talaga oo…tsk..tsk..satsat kasi nga satsat! ayan tuloy mali…pweeeeee!!!!!!!!
please read carefully, mas mataas yung movie nina piolo because its been running for 5 weeks already. and kc’s movie raked in 25+ million only during valentine’s day. the 35 million is the total sum raked in by the movie between feb 11-15..:)

Kami, mas inaabangan namin dito sa Middle East ang showing ng You Changed My Life nina Sarah at John Lloyd…And in fairness to Sarah & John Lloyd, dito sa lugar na pinagtatrabahuhan namin, ang A Very Special Love nila ang kauna-unahang Pinoy movie na extended for a couple of weeks ang showing na advance booking ang pagbili ng tickets.
the thing is, nasa 60M++ pa lang ang kinita ng WIMY for two weeks, tig 1 cinema na lang siya sa sm cinemas, mas mababa ang kinita nito compared sa FTFT…mas matino ang WIMY, pero di umabot ng 100M…oh well..
