My Only U
Toni Gonzaga and Vhong Navarro stars in My Only U, a light romantic comedy movie that is sure to capture the imagination of the Filipino movie going public once again.
Toni Gonzaga and Vhong Navarro starred together three years ago in the comedy D’Anothers and now Vhong and Toni are back in each other’s arms as partners in My Only U. Vhong and Toni worked together also in the television show Wazzup Wazzup in Studio 23. They were both “newscasters” of the comedic-news program.

i just watched the movie yesterday..
it was something i was not expecting..
i thought the movie would be a comedy in every part of it, like other movies Vhong Navarro did in his past films…this movie, i think, brought out Vhong’s other side of acting, drama. it is quite noticeable that he is an amatuer in this field of acting, but he did try his best and i think the viewers accepted it. while i was watching, i can’t help but think of vhong as a comedian not as a drama actor.
this film might be his first among the future “serious†films he would perform in.
for toni, i liked her again… she was the one who make me keep crying while watching. i was with my brother when i watched this. i cried a lot ang my brother laughed out widely…
the ending of this film is really great…
most of the Filipinos would think ending a movie in a tragedy or having the heroes die is not good at all. this movie came up with a tragedy in a positive way and it is accepted by the viewers. it is actualy loved by them.
i myself loved the ending.

pwede bang malaman kung magkano gross income ng MY ONLY U? talaga bang kumita ito, para kasing hinde. hindi ba luge Star Cinema dito compare sa “a very special love and for the first time”? wala pa dito sa amin e. kelan ba showing dito sa dubai, inip na inip na ako.

Considering the very limited promotion of this movie, the 11 million on the first day is great. I like these two (Toni and Vhong). Both are so versatile that they appeal to any class of audience.
More power to them and I wish to see Toni Gonzaga in more movies with different partners.

REGARDLESS OF ITS LIMITED PROMOTION, MY ONLY U MADE IT TO THE TOP 10 HIGHEST GROSSING PINOY MOVIES. THIS SAYS A LOT ABOUT MS GONZAGA. SHE CAN BE PAIRED WITH ANYONE AND STILL MAKE IT GREAT IN THE BOX OFFICE. IF GIVEN MORE PROMO TIME, THIS WOULD HAVE MADE A HIGHER GROSS. ANYWAY, IT IS GREAT TO BE INCLUDED IN THE TOP 10.
