TIME Magazine’s online poll of the 100 Most Influential People in 2009 is on. Lat year’s TIME World’s Most Influential Person is Shigeru Miyamoto, a Japanese video game designer. Shigeru Miyamoto created the popular video games Mario, Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, Star Fox, F-Zero, Pikmin and Nintendogs franchises for Nintendo game consoles. This year’s TIME 100 World’s Most Influential People in 2009 poll’s frontrunner is moot or “Christopher Poole” the 20 year-old founder of 4chan, an English-language highly popular and trendmaker imageboard website. He founded the trendsetting website when he was 15.

Making the list right now at number 6 is Filipino pound for pound boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao with almost 3 million votes.
