Actually, Pokwang is a member of ABS CBN’s Star Magic. She got her screen name from Pokwang, the smart-aleck girl in Vincent Kua Jr.’s komiks character. Pokwang won in a search for comedic talents held by a defunct gag show of ABS-CBN. Several of the talents discovered in that show also launched their own showbiz career albeit unsuccessfully, it was only Pokwang who became a household name as a witty Filipina actress comedienne and TV Host, thanks to a comedic style patterned after Comedy Queen Ai Ai Delas Alas. Pokwang ascribes to herself the title, “ST Queen of the Philippine Cinema.” She is currently a co-host of the popular noontime show, Wowowee.

Pokwang is very funny she is one of the reason why i loved to watch wowowee . She is so natural ,her antics are so original, I think in real life she is a down to earth person and a kind hearted woman.

Ganyan talaga ang mga linya ni Pokwang (saying that she is ST queen etc…)pero alam nya ang limit nya. Kayo ba eh mga nakakaintindi kung ano ang joke at hindi dapat i-interpret literally? Kaya nga comedy ang linya ni Pokie eh dahil she doesn’t take herself seriously lalo na pag nag-jo-joke sya about her look!!

Go, Pokie!!! Talagang sikat ka na at alam mo pa rin lumingon sa pinanggalingan mo and you have helped so many less fortunate people . Pero hindi talaga maiwasan na may mga talangka mentality pa rin na pumipintas at gusto kang hilahin paibaba.
Advice ko lang sa iyo eh dedmahin mo sila at lalo kang magsumikap as a versatile performer both on tv and movie para lalong mamatay sa inggit ang mga naiinggit sa iyo na mga walang talent!!

i think she is over acting. why not be an ordinary person. sobra ang pagiging maarte niya. nakaka-corny ang kanyang mga jokes. sometimes i can watch in tv other are not happy abou her jokes and the way she arte,even the way she wear her clothes. please try to make it simple. just be a simple.
