A reader emailed me a tip saying that Inaki of Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 has a scandal but not the kind of scandal that you think, lol, but the sort where Inaki lied to his teeth when he auditioned for Pinoy Dream Academy 2. The tipster sent me to a link in YouTube where Inaki, without batting an eyelash said he originally arranged his audition piece “Summer Breeze” to the amazement of the clueless judges.

Nakakaloka ang lola Anne Curtis, laplapan talaga to the max with Richard Gutierrez! In the spirit of fairness, i guess this was way way back when Anne Curtis was still with Richard Gutierrez. This is a new video btw different from the Anne Curtis and Richard Gutierrez kiss (Watch it here) that leaked to almost all video capable cellphone years back. But maybe this came from the very cellphone that was misplaced or stolen.

Both have moved on to even greater heights in their respective careers. Anne just had a successful movie and is set to rival another controversial viral video star Marian Rivera as a mermaid in Dyosa, while Richard Gutierrez is set to star in 2 projects with 2 different leading ladies, on TV with Heart Evangelista in Codename: Asero and on a yet untitled film with KC Concepcion to be shot in Greece.

Some say it was a Marian Rivera scandalous behavior, some say Marian has the right to defend herself when somebody offended her. I say, she should have left this incident to her cordon sanitaire to handle. That is, that she should have let her staff and the security and production crew handle the situation however offensive a kibitzer is. That’s the way showbiz is, you don’t involve yourself, because in the end pagpi-pyestahan ka lang ng detractors, ikaw ang talo, kasi ikaw ang kilala. This is more the fault of the crew than her actually.

MARIAN SPEAKS UP.

Ipinakuwento na rin ng PEP kay Marian ang buong pangyayari para marinig naman ang side niya. Humingi ng ilang minuto ang young actress sa staff ng Dyesebel para ikuwento ang side niya.

“Ganito yun,” simula niya. “Nasa set kami sa Subic. Alam ng lahat na bawal ang mag-video lalo na kung hindi pa umeere ang episode. Nakita ko siyang [yung lalake sa YouTube] kumukuha ng video at biniro ko ng ‘Kuya, nagbi-video kayo, bawal ‘yan.’ Ang sagot ba naman, ‘Bakit, ikaw ba ang bini-video ko?’ Pakialam ko raw. Pabalang ang sagot at nagulat ako, nagkasagutan kaming dalawa.

“Tinanong ko kung staff siya. Taga-processing daw siya. Nagulat ako, bakit ganun ang reaction niya sa akin. Kahit payat at maliit ako, hindi ako papayag apihin. Caviteña ako, lalaban ako! Walang nang-aapi sa akin!” lahad ni Marian.

Pinuna ni Mr. Marbeda sa ipinadala niyang email sa amin na sumisigaw si Marian sa video. Pati raw ang personal assistant (PA) at staff ng Dyesebel ay sinisigawan din ng young actress. May paliwanag din si Marian dito.

Aniya, “Alam n’yo, malakas talaga akong magsalita at hindi na bago sa staff yun. Wala akong sinisigawang PA, dahil that day na nagte-taping kami sa Subic, wala akong PA, nag-resign siya dahil buntis. Bago ang PA ko ngayon, two days pa lang sa akin at medyo may edad na ang kinuha ko para hindi magbuntis.”

Sinegundahan ng direktor ng Dyesebel na si Joyce Bernal ang mga sinabi ni Marian na wala kasamang PA o alalay ang young actress that fateful day, dahil buntis nga ang PA nito.

Itinanong din ng PEP kay Marian ang video ng nakasagutan niyang lalake na paulit-ulit na sinasampal, pero hindi nakita kung sino ang sumampal at kamay lang ng nanampal ang nakita. Pinapalabas na si Marian ang nanampal sa lalake.

“Wala akong sinampal, wala akong sinaktan,” mariing sabi ni Marian. “Ni hindi ko nga siya hinawakan, nagkasagutan lang kami. Inawat na kami ng staff. Dapat hinamon ko na lang siya ng suntukan!”

Feeling ba niya frame-up ang nangyari? Bakit may nag-video ng nangyari at bakit edited?

“Bahala na sila,” sabi niya. “Ang importante sa akin, hindi ako nag-power trip. Okey lang siraan at pintasan nila ako, tanggap ko lahat na kaparte ng trabaho ko ito. Dapat masanay na ako, dahil lahat na lang ng kilos ko… Tinatanong ko lang ang manager ko [Popoy Caritativo], kung bakit ayaw akong tantanan. Ganun din ang sinasabi niya, na bahagi ito ng showbiz at kailangan kong masanay.”

Ang hindi raw ipinakita sa video ay ang nangyari kinabukasan—ang pagbabalik ng lalake sa set at kinausap si Marian.

“The next day, bumalik siya, nagkaayos kami at nagkapaliwanagan kami. Alam ko sa sarili ko na ipinagtanggol ko lang ang sarili ko, dahil binastos ako. Mali ba ang ginawa ko?” tanong ni Marian sa PEP.
