David Beckham will be in the 2008 Beijing Olympics Closing Ceremonies. David Beckham is to be in the handover of the next Olympic city host, London 2012. As you all know, David Beckham is British and is reportedly one of the main reason London was chosen to be the next Olympic city host in 2012.

The Megastar Sharon Cuneta although visible via her tv show Sharon, has not been seen on the big screen in a long time, her new movie Caregiver is her first in four years and the 15th anniversary presentation of Star Cinema. It is also Chito Roño’s groundbreaking directorial project for 2008.

Caregiver chronicles the journey of Sarah (Sharon Cuneta), a schoolteacher-turned-caregiver. Most of Caregiver was shot in London with British actors Saul Reichlin, Matthew Rutherford and Claire Jeater; and the Filipino cast of John Estrada, Rica Peralejo, Makisig Morales, John Manalo, Jhong Hilario, Mickey Feriols, Lotlot de Leon, Marita Zobel, Anita Linda, Ella V., Ima Castro and Boots Anson Roa.

Caregiver is not only a fitting tribute to the millions of OFW’s but is a way for Sharon to celebrate thirty successful years in Philippine Showbiz, twenty years of that in ABS-CBN.

“I hope itong munting alay ko para sa napakalalaking okasyon na ito and over 30 years in music and 27 years in the movies, I have been yours, you have made me yours, I hope na kasama ko pa rin kayo hanggang dito, Diyos ko ‘di ko alam aabot tayo sa ganito. Maraming maraming salamat po! So this is my tribute to all of you and to all mothers because really Sarah’s first and foremost a mother and she is an empowered woman so panoorin nyo po sana ang Caregiver. Diyos ko di po ako mapapahiya sa inyo!”

Caregiver opens in theaters nationwide on May 28, 2008. International premieres are scheduled in Los Angeles (May 31), Honolulu (June 1), London (June 6), and Rome (June 7).

I’m a big fan of Princess Diana, and sinner or saint, i consider Princess Diana a saint! Still vivd on my mind is the image of Princess Diana embracing an AIDS victim when it was still considered risky to do so. Not to mention her anti-landmine campaign. Plus the fact that whatever she wore in public are sold to benefit charity.

So, i am just concerned why Britain would send Prince Harry, Diana’s youngest child, to Afghanistan. Sure, it could be Prince Harry’s wishes but he could have been assigned a more secure base than on the frontlines. Prince Harry is also third in line to the British throne.

The world could not afford another royal casualty but i also totally understand Prince Harry. The Prince could have as well inherited Princess Di’s humanitarian spirit.

Speaking of unguarded moments…Britain’s Prince Harry, the bunso of Princess Diana, is turning out to be a sexy lad, and is getting alot of people turned on with these sexy unguarded moment pics of Prince Harry.
