Magpakailanman tsugi na
Magpakailanman aired almost 260 episodes in total, since it started on November 2002. It has proved to be a consistent top-rating Thursday primetime fare for GMA 7 so much so that its rival drama anthology show, Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) transferred to Friday on ABS-CBN’s primetime block.
Magpakailanman’s very first episode was The Didith Reyes Story portrayed by Ara Mina. The Sarah Geronimo Story portrayed by Kyla was Magpakailanman’s first no.1 in tv ratings.
Magpakailanman won twice in the Catholic Mass Media Awards for Best TV Drama. Magpakailanman is hosted by veteran broadcast journalist Mel Tiangco.
Donita Rose binastos sa Umagang Kay Ganda

Donita Rose, former MTV Asia VJ, now hosts a segment of ABS-CBN’s morning show, Umagang Kay Ganda. The usual spiel of a tv show host is to announce that they will be back after a commercial break and mentioning the show’s title.
So imagine one such morning when Donita Rose said this, “Magbabalik ang”…..,” Donita turning to the audience expecting it to shout their show, Umagang Kay Ganda, as the one people will shout, unexpectedly got the surprise of her life when the audience in turn shouted Unang Hirit!, Umagang Kay Ganda’ competitor.
This is a death sentence for any show actually. ABS-CBN already reformatted their morning show several times. Umagang Kay Ganda has been on air for several months already.
Magpakailanman matsutsugi na

Mel Tiangco’s drama anthology, Magpakailanman, also known as MKM, or Forevermore in english has, since October, been the subject of talk that it will get the ax. GMA 7 reportedly is cancelling the show despite its toprating status.
Jojo Aleta, associate producer of Magpakailanman, meanwhile retorted that if the talk of cancellation of MKM is true then why is it still on the air and that they still have stories lined-up for December.
On the part of host Mel Tiangco, Jojo on her behalf said, “Sabi nga ni Mel, okey lang kung matsugi ang show. Masaya niyang lilisanin ang ere. ‘Di ba, dati kahit anong itapat ng Siyete sa programa ni Charo, laging talo? Nu’ng itapat ang MKM, nagbago lahat.
Become the new face of MTV’s Virtual Hills
One can go to http://www.vmodelsearch.mtv.com or http://www.vmtv.com/virtualhills.html to create their own customized avatar, which they’ll use on their quest to become the world’s first-ever virtual model.
Participants will experience opportunities to “meet” in-world with a roster of Ford Models’ experts who will provide invaluable beauty and styling tips on everything from fashion, skincare, hair, and makeup — of which all can apply to the real world.
They are then given a virtual bottle of M by Mariah Carey — complete with a spray animation — along with a Ford Models portfolio book to carry throughout the virtual world. Ford Models’ digital video content containing similar fashion and beauty insights will also be available 24 hours a day for viewing.
At the heart of the campaign is a series of events in early January, in which models will be asked to show off their virtual acting capabilities by posing with the bottle and acting out a commercial for the fragrance. They will also be asked to walk a virtual runway and compete in a virtual dance contest. Representatives from Ford Models, Elizabeth Arden and MTV will conduct the judging.
Three finalists will be chosen by an expert panel on January 14, 2008. The winner — as determined by viewer votes — will be announced on-air on January 31, 2008.
The winning avatar becomes Ford Models’ first-ever virtual world model, the fresh new face of a marketing campaign for MTV’s virtual worlds, and the star of a :30-second Elizabeth Arden/MTV co-branded spot.
