Alfie Lorenzo, manager extraordinaire of Juday, and Juday herself, reportedly had a shouting match (and burning of candles?) over Judy Ann Santos’ supposed renewal of contract with ABS-CBN. According to very reliable sources, manager Alfie Lorenzo got mad at Juday when, when Alfie presented the contract to Juday for signing, Judy Ann reportedly said, she would first consult her lawyer to go over the details of the new contract before she finally signs it. This got the ire of Alfie who reportedly said that after 20 years of managing her, why suddenly now will Juday remark that she will first consult a lawyer first, before signing anything. Reliable sources over at Startalk also said they have interviewed on cam Alfie Lorenzo and will be aired on Saturday, and in that interview, Alfie said some nasty things about Juday and even called her a “pulubi” when he started managing her 20 years ago.

Meanwhile, some reliable sources again, also hinted that Alfie is keeping a very big secret, a bombshell actually, that’s why Juday can never leave the ward of manager Alfie Lorenzo even if she wants to.

Cristy Fermin has been suspended by ABS-CBN from appearing in her television program, The Buzz and from her radio program in DZMM, also owned by ABS-CBN. ABS-CBN deemed that Cristy Fermin violated provisions of her contract with her remarks against Nadia Montenegro in The Buzz on October 5, 2008. ABS-CBN also cited that Cristy Fermin’s actions also brought damage not only to her reputation and credibility but also that of The Buzz and ABS-CBN. Here is the complete statement of ABS-CBN with regard to the suspension of Cristy Fermin:

“Ang kontrata ni Ms. Cristy Fermin bilang host ng The Buzz sa ABS-CBN Channel 2 at anchorperson ng Showbiz Mismo sa DZMM ay sinuspinde hanggang December 31, 2008.

Ang suspension ng talent contracts ni Ms. Fermin sa ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation ay may kaugnayan sa mga pahayag niya sa episode ng The Buzz noong October 5, 2008. Ang aksyong ito ni Ms. Fermin ay lumabag sa ilang probisyon ng kanyang kontrata.

Nilabag din ng aksyon ni Ms. Fermin ang mataas na batayan ng propesyonalismo at integridad sa pamamahayag. Ito ay nagdulot ng kapinsalaan hindi lamang sa kanyang pangalan at kredibilidad, kundi sa programang The Buzz at ABS-CBN.”

Mark Herras is in several photos circulating on emails with the colegiala identified as one “Valerie Pornea” studying at the University of Sto. Tomas and is purportedly Mark Herras non-showbiz girlfriend. Note: Face of Valerie Pornea in the photos are not shown because she is not a public figure. I will only show it if she allows me too.

Showbiz Central was able to get some statement from Valerie Pornea in a sent text message which stated: “What for? Ide-deny rin naman ni Mark. Kayo na lang po ang bahala. If sa tingin n’yo kailangan, okey lang po.”

And surely, Mark Herras denies the rumored kolehiyala girlfriend or colegiala gf Valerie Pornea. “Hindi totoo ‘yan…marami lang ang nagpapalaki. Si Val, linawin ko lang…isa sa mga fan ko. Actually, hindi na nga lang din fan ang turing ko sa kanya, na ngayon ay inaaway ng mga tao na ayaw du’n sa love team namin ni Rhian Ramos. Basta ako ngayon, ang masasabi ko lang, single ako. Wala akong girlfriend”

In turn, Valerie was asked about her reaction to what Mark Herras has said.

“Sinabi po ba talaga ni Mark na fan niya lang ako? If yun po ang sabi niya…sige, fan lang po ako. Pero may fan po ba na isinasakay niya sa van niya? Pinapatulog sa bahay nila kung gabi na matapos ang taping? If gusto niya pumunta ako ng taping, hindi ako pumapasok sa school kasi, ang gusto niya, dun lang ako. ‘Tapos ngayon, fan niya lang ako?”

“Gusto niya gawin na lang din niya sa akin ang ginawa niya kay Lian [Paz]. Hindi ba unfair yun, kuya? Masakit din sa akin ‘to. Gusto ni Mark tumahimik ako. Tatahimik naman po ako. Pero sana tumahimik siya at hindi niya ipagkakalat na fan ako.

“Ano pa kayang mukha ang ihaharap ko sa mga classmates ko? Dapat nakinig ako sa mga friends ko dati pa.”

Mark Herras reacted by saying: “Alam ko ang totoo at alam din ng mga kasama ko ang totoo, kaya hindi ko na dapat patulan ang mga ganyan.”

“Sana huwag silang mangdamay ng ibang tao. Nananahimik yung bata, nag-aaral. ‘Tapos, like kapag sumasasama sa amin at gustong manood ng taping or SOP, sinasama namin. Alam ko marami pang lalabas na ganyang isyu, pero, sana , huwag silang mandamay ng ibang tao.”
