Pinoy Fear Factor South America hosted by Ryan Agoncillo starts airing Nov. 10 on ABS-CBN and will run for 15 weeks. So far the Pinoy Fear Factor 12 Participantes as they are officially called had not been fully revealed with the exception of celebrities Phoemela Barranda and LJ Moreno. Sources say that Riza Santos is also a part of Pinoy Fear Factor. Others are semi-celeb (if there is such a thing) like Ram Sagad, Century Tuna Superbodies 2007 Winner/Welcoat basketball player; Gail Nicolas, Marian Rivera look-alike and Mossimo Bikini Summit 2007 Winner; and a certain Janna Dominguez, who is said to be a former Wowowee host.

Some ordinary folks with colorful presents and pasts are also Pinoy Fear Factor Participantes like: Savanah – described as a ledge dancer; RJ – a stevedore with two kids from Tarlac; Elmer – a vet; Jose – a culinary student; Manuel – a balikbayan from Australia; Marion Dela Cruz – a challenger from Tarlac ( and resides in Vienna, Austria); and Jommy – a model.

In the auditions held nationwide, PFF hopefuls were asked to perform some small stunts and had to undergo physical and psychological examinations. Knowing how to swim and drive was also a strict requirement. There were also some contestants who failed to meet particular clauses in the contract hence had to back out, which further extended the selection process to almost two months.

The 12 participantes left at the end of August and stayed in Argentina for a month. The first winner of Pinoy Fear Factor: South America takes home P2 million in cash and a house and lot worth P2.5 million from Avida. EcoQuest intl could have been a sponsor of this event too.

This is the complete transcript of the controversial Judy Ann Santos talent manager and entertainment columnist Alfie Lorenzo Startalk Interview. This interview was shown yesterday, October 18 on Startalk. Judy Ann Santos got the ire of her manager when she decided to consult her lawyer first before signing an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN. The Exclusive ABS-CBN contract is to last until 2011. Alfie Lorenzo feels that Judy Ann Santos has lost trust of him as a manager by consulting a lawyer first, eventhough Judy Ann Santos reportedly got a very good deal out of the supposed ABS-CBN exclusive contract. Here’s what Alfie Lorenzo had to say in Startalk:

“Naiinis lang kasi after 20 years, ngayon lang siya nagkonsulta sa abogado, E, naaalala ko nga, that time na mag-asawa siya at mabuntis siya, wala na siyang offer, wala na siyang trabaho. Inaalagaan ko lang ang future nila. The same way na bata pa lang ‘yan, inaalagaan ko na, hanggang sa pag-aasawa. Siyempre, wala naman akong tutol sa kanila ni Ryan and, in fact, I appreciate Ryan’s gesture na hindi naman siya nakikialam sa career ni Juday.”

“May guarantee siya na kung mag-aaaral nga siya (Judy Ann) sa States ng Culinary Arts, may allowance siya. Kung halimbawa magtanan siya, magpakasal, mabuntis siya, may allowance siya. So I signed it at sabi ko, papirmahan n’yo na kay Juday.

The whole day of Wednesday (October 8), wala siyang gagawin noon, victory party ng Kulam. After that, siguro mga two o’ clock or three ‘o clock, puwede na siyang tumawid sa ABS, di ba? E, tumawag sa akin ang executive ng Dos na humihingi nga raw ng kopya si Juday. So, ni-meet nila si Juday. Sabi, ‘Bigyan n’yo ako ng kopya at ipakikita ko sa abogado ko.

Wala pa naman si Judy Ann, nagsusugal na ako. Hindi naman ako pulubi nang madampot ni Juday. Siya ang pulubi nang madampot ko. Ngayon, she’s a billionaire! Alalahanin na lang ni Juday yung 20 years na nakapila pa sila sa Cubao, na nagdyi-jeep lang. Hanggang sa naihanap ko sila ng apartment na ako pa rin minsan ang nag-aabono. Yung first van niya, ako pa rin ang nag-down no’n.

Hindi naman kabawasan sa akin bilang talent manager kung mamuhay na nang tahimik si Juday sa piling ni Ryan. Well, I hope they become the first couple that will not separate in showbiz. Good luck!

Okay lang naman sa akin. Hindi naman ako na-devastate noong lahat sila… Nag-asawa si Sheryl Cruz, nag-asawa si Jackie Forster, nag-asawa si Ruffa Gutierrez, nag-asawa si Sunshine Cruz, okey lang yun, di ba? Marami pa namang matutuklasang talents. Stars come and go.

After all this outburst, Alfie Lorenzo is still optimistic that the matter will be settled amicably by saying, “Maaayos din naman yun… Dyusko!” as his final hurrah.

Judy Ann Santos meanwhile was also interviewed by Startalk and was aired right after Alfie’s. Juday was very diplomatic about the situation and said that she only wanted to make things straight, given the fact that she has a tax evasion case, and does not see anything wrong with consulting a lawyer first. She said that she wanted to settle the matter privately with her manager Alfie Lorenzo.

Ryan Agoncillo, 29, returns to Primetime soap via Pieta. Ryan Agoncillo came from a well to do family and a graduate of De La Salle University-Manila with a Bachelor of Arts degree, major in Organizational Communication. Given that Ryan Agoncillo came from an upper middle-class background, it is no mean feat that Ryan Agoncillo effortlessly portrays a role far from his upbringing. I guess fiancee Judy Ann Santos is a big influence. In Pieta, Ryan Agoncillo plays Rigor, an off-beat role for him. Pieta follows the story of a mother’s enduring love for her son who is beset with pain and revenge. Cherie Gil plays Rigor’s mother. Krista Ranillo plays Rigor’s love interest originally portrayed by 80’s bombshell, Vivian Velez. Pieta was originally an award-winning movie helmed by Carlo J. Caparas in 1983 starring the late Ace Vergel. It’s sequel, Pieta: Ikalawang Aklat, was topbilled by Bong Revilla Jr.

Ryan Agoncillo first started in commercials at 15 and then became host of Mornings at GMA and Campus Video, a short-lived program at GMA Network. Ryan Agoncillo then moved to ABS-CBN Network, and became a co-host in Talk TV, a late morning talk show co-hosted by broadcasters Julius Babao and Christine Bersola, and actress Janette McBride, Janet McBride is DJ Moe Twister’s wife.. Ryan Agoncillo was briefly linked to Janet McBride.

Ryan also hosted Breakfast, an early morning variety program; and Y-Speak, a youth-oriented talk show and debate forum, where he won his first KBP Golden Dove Awards for his Best Talk Show host in 2005. Ryan Agoncillo also hosted Philippine Idol with Heart Evangelista on the then ABC-5 now TV5. Ryan Agoncillo returns to TV5 every Saturday at 6 pm in Talentadong Pinoy which showcases Filipino undiscovered talents.

Ryan’s next big project is Endemol’s Pinoy Fear Factor on ABS-CBN. Pinoy Fear Factor was shot entirely in Argentina.

Ryan Agoncillo is no stranger to soap operas as well, he played love interest to Judy Ann Santos in Krystala and Ysabella.

Judy Ann Santos reacts (violently) to what Robin Padilla had said albeit jokingly that he will not have any participation on the wedding of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo because he may “snatch” the bride away.

“Alam mo namang mag-isip yung mga tao, di ba? Alam naman ng lahat ng tao na I’m more than happy with my life right now. Alam ko namang matalinong tao si Robin. Kung dinaan niya sa biro ‘yon, hindi na lang gano’n. Hindi naman lahat ng tao ay maiintindihang biro ‘yon, e. Lalo pa’t hindi naman nakita na sinabi niya ‘yon. Nabasa lang. Iba yung nabasa, iba yung napapanood sa TV at interview, iba ‘yon, e.

“Ayoko lang na ma-misinterpret ng mga tao yung nabanggit niya. Sana, respetuhan na lang ng mga partners. Kung wala siyang masasabing maganda tungkol sa kapupuntahan ng relasyon namin ni Ryan, sana huwag na lang siyang mag-comment.”

Judy Ann Santos hopes that the Robin Padilla acerbic remark has nothing to do with the showing of both their horror films, Sundo and Matakot ka sa…Kulam.

“Sana nga, hindi lumaki kasi parang lalabas na naggagamitan pa kami. Hindi ko alam kung paano magre-react si Ryan tungkol sa sinabi ni Binoe, pero yun nga ang iniiwasan ko. Nananahimik ang boyfriend ko, ‘tapos madadamay dahil lang sa ganyang mga komento. Huwag naman. Wala naman kaming sinasabi tungkol sa ibang tao, and if they’re not happy for us, sana manahimik na lang sila.”

Judy Ann Santos and Robin Padilla had made a romantic comedy movie called “Jeannie… Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang?” in 2002 and in a soap in ABS-CBN called, “Basta’t Kasama Kita.”

“Very professional ang pinagsamahan namin ni Binoe. Wala naman talagang personalan. Pero ang alam ko, naging magkaibigan kami. Okey ang naging working relationship namin. Kaya nagulat din ako sa mga sinabi niya. Sa totoo lang, sana nga, huwag nang lumaki, kasi hindi talaga maganda. Ayoko lang magsinungaling sa naramdaman ko nang malaman ko yung sinabi niya, regardless of how he said that, kung biro man, pero hindi talaga maganda.”

“It’s not worth it na pahabain pa ang isyung ‘yan tungkol kay Robin. Ang mahalaga ay masaya ako at kung may mapapangasawa siyempre ako, wala nang kaduda-dudang si Ryan na ang pakakasalan ko.”

To which the present movie press could only ask in chorus to once and for all ask the ultimate question, can she be really “snatched” away by Robin Padilla from Ryan Agoncillo?

“Hindi. Period,” Juday quickly said. Meanwhile Judy Ann Santos is also busy these days shooting a teleserye called “Humiling Ako Sa Langit” that will reunite her with former Ysabella leading man, sexy smoking hot (hehe) Derek Ramsay. In the teleseye, Judy Ann Santos plays a nurse. She is also jetting off to LA to lobby for ‘Ploning,’ the Philippines official entry to the 2009 Oscar Awards, in which Judy Ann Santos starred and produced.

Maja Salvador is also a one true Filipina beauty. After her star has dimmed a little bit after an unsuccessful launching movie with Ryan Agoncillo, she made a career rebound when she was paired off with JayR Siaboc. She was suppose to star in the remake of AnnaLiza but the project was shelved. Maja Salvador last appeared in Kapitan Boom with JayR Siaboc and Jon Avila. She is regularly seen every Sunday in the ABS-CBN variety show, ASAP ‘08.
