Taylor Hicks in Broadway
I guess that is the route if you don’t sell records as expected of an American Idol winner or finalist. Taylor Hicks a recent Manila visitor, is hard at work on a new album. Taylor’s first album, Taylor Hicks, after winning American Idol has sold around 700,000 copies and was certified platinum. While those are decent numbers for a debut album, they were not the million plus sales expected for an American Idol winner. Not long after the release, Hicks and his label J Records parted ways.
Starting June 6th, Taylor Hicks will appear as the Teen Angel in the Broadway production of Grease. The role was made famous by Frankie Valli in the 1978 film adaptation starring John Travolta.

Leona Lewis on American Idol
Leona Lewis on American Idol will be on the heels of Mariah Carey mentoring the American Idol 7 contestants on April 16. And of course Leona Lewis singing style is being compared to Mariah Carey. Some say Leona Lewis at her best now is just a watered down Mariah Carey at her best in the 90’s.
Here’s Leona Lewis live on Good Morning America singing her no. 1 single, “Bleeding Love” from the no. 1 album Spirit.
and here’s Leona Lewis in American Idol:
I just love Teardrops On My Guitar by Taylor Swift
You can also watch the music video to Teardrops On My Guitar by Taylor Swift below, it features Tyler Hilton. By the way, Teardrops On My Guitar is topping charts in the Philippines just now, but i actually adore this song since November 2007. But it’s always never too late for a good song! and Taylor Swift is such a talented teenager…
Drew looks at me.
I fake a smile so he won’t see
What I want and I need
And everything that we should be.I’ll bet she’s beautiful,
That girl he talks about.
And she’s got everything
That I have to live without.Drew talks to me.
I laugh, cause it’s so damn funny
That I can’t even see
Anyone, when he’s with me.He says he’s so in love.
He’s finally got it right.
I wonder if he knows
He’s all I think about at night! He’s the reason for the teardrops on my guitar,
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star.
He’s the song in the car I keep singing,
Don’t know why I do.Drew walks by me.
Can he tell that I cant breathe?
And there he goes, so perfectly. The kind of flawless I wish I could be.
She better hold him tight,
Give him all her love,
Look in those beautiful eyes,
And know she’s lucky, causeHe’s the reason for the teardrops on my guitar,
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star,
He’s the song in the car I keep singing,
Don’t know why I do.So I drive home alone.
As I turn out the light,
I’ll put his picture down,
And maybe get some sleep tonight.Cause he’s the reason for the teardrops on my guitar,
The only one who’s got enough of me to break my heart,
He’s the song in the car I keep singing,
Don’t know why I do.He’s the time taken up,
But there’s never enough.
And he’s all that I need to fall into.Drew looks at me.
I fake a smile so he won’t see.
Baek Ji Young Racy Tape
Then it happened. A raunchy videotape of Baek Ji Young in a bedroom romp with her former manager turned up on an Internet pay-per-view pron site, radio stations then scrambled to pull her songs off the air and television stations canceled appearances. The shoe company put its Baek Ji Young ads on hold.
The racy tape became Korea’s Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee famous tape. An instant hit, with everyone wanting to see the video.
Then Baek Ji Young got feisty, denouncing her former manager and denying she knew he had the camera rolling. That spunky attitude has turned the young entertainer into an unlikely cause celebre for South Korea’s growing women’s rights movement.
