Watch the Iisa Pa Lamang teaser below. Iisa Pa Lamang stars Gabby Concepcion, Claudine Barretto and Diether Ocampo. It is a highly anticipated teleserye because it will be Gabby Concepcion’s first acting assignment since leaving the Philippines more than a decade ago. The new primetime soap will be shown on ABS-CBN soon. The theme song which is of course entitled “Iisa Pa Lamang,” originally sung by Joey Albert, will be sang by Lani Misalucha.

Aside from Gabby Concepcion, Claudine Barretto and Diether Ocampo, “Iisa Pa Lamang” also stars Angelica Panganiban, Cherie Pie Picache, Laurice Guillen, Matt Evans, Melissa Ricks and Ms. Susan Roces. Iisa Pa Lamang is considered to be one of the most ambitious projects of ABS-CBN. to date by bringing a powerhouse cast. It is to be directed by Ruel S. Bayani and Manny Palo.

OJ Mariano is Awit Awards’ Best New Male Recording Artist of 2006. He was discovered through ABS-CBN’s Idol like talent search, ” Star In A Million. ” Recently, he released an album compilation of some of the most popular and favorite romantic songs entitled “Ballads” with the carrier single, the Peabo Bryson hit classic “If Ever You’re in my Arms again,” now enjoying good airplay in different radio stations nationwide. He recently released the album’s 2nd single, ““Sana’y Malaman Mo”, a romantic song from hitmaker Marlon Silva. The album also includes OPM revivals such as Boy Katindig’s “I Will Always Stay in Love this Way” ; “It’s Over Now” by Joey Albert and Louie Ocampo and a beautiful song by Mr. Ryan Cayabyab entitled Iniibig Kita”.

Other revivals in “Ballads” are “In Your Eyes” originally by George Benson (chosen as another theme song for the ABS-CBN Koreanovela “LOVERS”); the classic favorite “Sukiyaki”, Eagle’s Big hit “Love Will Keep Us Alive”, and the haunting “ Dance with my Father” by the great Luther Vandross. The other original composition is “Di Ka Na Akin”, an evocative ballad by up and coming composer Francis Salazar. All songs are arranged and produced by Paulo Zarate.

The album’s executive producers are Dennis G. Arce and OJ Mariano himself.

Part of the sales of the “Ballads” album will go to the projects of the Environmental Protection Program of Quezon City, particularly, the Sweepers’ Brigade Project as its beneficiary.
