The trek to Manila, Philippines of big stars from the Hollywood music industry continues. Now comes, successful hip hop and R&B record producer and rapper Timbaland will be holding a concert in Araneta Cliseum on January 19, 2008.

Timbaland is known for his collaboration with music superstars Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Rihanna and more recently with rock group, OneRepublic.

Rock bands My Chemical Romance, Maroon 5 and Incubus are all coming to the Philippines early next year to do a concert. Each band are scheduled to do a rock gig in Manila, albeit separately.

My Chemical Romance is scheduled to rock Manila on January 25, 2008, a Friday at 8:00PM at the Fort Bonifacio Open Field. Tickets are available at Ticketworld, Robinson’s malls and National Bookstore branches. Gold tickets are at P3,375.00 while silver tickets are at P2,250.00.

Maroon 5, composed of Adam Levine (lead vocals, guitar), James Valentine (guitar, backing vocals), Jesse Carmichael (keyboards, backing vocals), Mickey Maden (bass guitar), and Matt Flynn (drums) and known for such massive hits as: This Love, She Will Be Loved, Harder To Breathe, Makes Me Wonder, Wake Up Call and the latest burning up Philippine radio, Won’t Go Home Without You, is slated to perform at the Araneta Coliseum on March 5, 2008, a Wednesday at 8:00pm. Rock impressario Incubus is also slated to do a concert in the Araneta Coliseum just days after Maroon 5, or on March 9, 2007.

Who knows it could be Britney Spears next, because in her latest single, Piece Of Me, she hums/sings she wants to get away into the Philippines..(last song syndrome for me,lol)
