The world’s first pregnant man, technically that is and not because of a beer belly (lol), is Tracy Lagundino, born in Hawaii to a Filipino father and a Caucasian mother. Technically because he legally became a man after undergoing a sex change operation - but kept her female reproductive organs. So of course, she will still get pregnant biologically, it is only her legal status that became male.

Thomas Beatie appeared in Oprah to announce his pregnancy. This is Tracy Lagondino or TracyLagundino before she became legally a man:

He also adopted the name Thomas Beatie when he legally became a man. He then got married but his wife, Nancy, was ironically the one who could not have children because her uterus had been removed to treat a medical problem. When Nancy and Thomas Beatie decided they wanted to have a child, Thomas stopped taking testosterone. This allowed his internal female reproductive organs to take over, and within four months after he stopped the testosterone, his menstruation returned, which meant he was ovulating again and could get pregnant. Artificial insemination did get him pregnant the first timebut he miscarried. This second pregnancy seems to be holding up and he expects to deliver in July.

After the baby arrives, they plan on being an average American couple. With Nancy as the mother and Thomas as father.

A Wowowee mania hits the island of Hawaii.. Reports from a local Hawaii station, Wowowee on Hawaii’s KGMB9 news, on the expected 20,000 Hawaiian-Filipinos to troop to Aloha Stadium tonight. Yes, tonight pa lang magsa- Saturday, May 10, sa Hawaii (Note: it’s 6:04AM May 10, 2008 HI time, 12:04AM May 11, 2008 Philippine Time as of this writing). Charice Pempengco, now to be known/called only as “Charice” is one of the show’s guest. Of course, Wowowee host Willie Revillame, and co-host Mariel Rodriguez, Precious Lara Quigaman, Pokwang, RR Enriquez, Valerie Concepcion, and the famous ASF Dancers Luningning, Milagring and Mariposa are in full attendance. Wowowee in Hawaii will be shown on May 24 in the Philippines.

This is reportedly the Willie Revillame millions of pesos house in Tagaytay Highlands. It is pretty famous in Tagaytay, even the guards are buzzing about it, that’s why we learned it was Willie Revillame’s house.

By the way, it is the same house where Willie Revillame was caught with Gray Chun.

Meanwhile, Willie Revillame’s Wowowee will be in Hawaii on May 10th at the Aloha Stadium. Wowowee is hosted by Willie Revillame, with his co-hosts Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion, Precious Lara Quigaman, Pokwang, the sexy dancers Luningning, Mariposa, Milagring and the very controversial RR Enriquez with her nude calendar photos.

Filipinas are known for their beauty all over, so it’s not a surprise to know that several of Philippines descent are famous and hot in Hollywood right now. But these Filipina ladies are not just popular for their sexiness and beauty but because of their talent.

Cassie Ventura, or simply Cassie is the daughter of a Filipino father and an African-American mother. Cassie began her career as a model at the age of fourteen, appearing in ads for Delia’s, Adidas, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Seventeen. Cassie is signed with Diddy’s record label, Bad Boy Records. Her first single, “Me & U” proved to be a massive hit.

Vanessa Minnillo, CBS’s “Entertainment Tonight” correspondent and co-host of MTV’s “TRL”. Vanessa Joy Minnillo was born in Clark Air Base, Philippines to Vincent Minnillo and Helen Berecero. Vanessa Minnillo has passive knowledge of two Philippine languages, Kapampangan and Tagalog.

Her father is an American of Italian and Irish descent; the ethnicity of her estranged mother has been ambiguous with Minnillo’s reference to her as being a Filipina from Leyte. Minnillo has been dating singer Nick Lachey since mid 2006, ex-husband of Jessica Simpson and member of boy band 98 Degrees.

Nicole Scherzinger, was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to a Filipino father and a Hawaiian/Russian mother. She grew up in Louisville, Kentucky with stepfather Gary Scherzinger. In 2001, Scherzinger competed in the premiere season of The WB’s television show Popstars, on which she earned a spot in the all-girl pop group Eden’s Crush.

In June 2003, following her stint with Eden’s Crush, Scherzinger joined The Pussycat Dolls burlesque troupe, who were being re-cast as recording artists.

Nicole has been working on her self titled solo album with well known record producers such as will.i.am, Timbaland, Kara Dioguardi and Bryan Michael Cox. Her first single “Steam” will be released early this year.

Tia Carrere, born in Honolulu, Hawaii of Filipino, Chinese, and Spanish heritage.

She meet initial success with Wayne’s World (and it’s sequel) and went on to star in character roles for several big Hollywood films until her stint in Relic Hunter. She also participated as a contestant on the popular reality show, Dancing with the Stars.
