“Pwede mo akong i-link kay Sam Milby. Gusto kong malink kay Sam Milby because people know even sina Tito Jobert at Tita Cristy they know that we are very good friends. We started hindi pa siya PBB and we’re good friends na kami so, yun pwede nyo kong i-link kay Sam Milby, besides ano, we have the same eyes.”

Ryan Agoncillo, 29, returns to Primetime soap via Pieta. Ryan Agoncillo came from a well to do family and a graduate of De La Salle University-Manila with a Bachelor of Arts degree, major in Organizational Communication. Given that Ryan Agoncillo came from an upper middle-class background, it is no mean feat that Ryan Agoncillo effortlessly portrays a role far from his upbringing. I guess fiancee Judy Ann Santos is a big influence. In Pieta, Ryan Agoncillo plays Rigor, an off-beat role for him. Pieta follows the story of a mother’s enduring love for her son who is beset with pain and revenge. Cherie Gil plays Rigor’s mother. Krista Ranillo plays Rigor’s love interest originally portrayed by 80’s bombshell, Vivian Velez. Pieta was originally an award-winning movie helmed by Carlo J. Caparas in 1983 starring the late Ace Vergel. It’s sequel, Pieta: Ikalawang Aklat, was topbilled by Bong Revilla Jr.

Ryan Agoncillo first started in commercials at 15 and then became host of Mornings at GMA and Campus Video, a short-lived program at GMA Network. Ryan Agoncillo then moved to ABS-CBN Network, and became a co-host in Talk TV, a late morning talk show co-hosted by broadcasters Julius Babao and Christine Bersola, and actress Janette McBride, Janet McBride is DJ Moe Twister’s wife.. Ryan Agoncillo was briefly linked to Janet McBride.

Ryan also hosted Breakfast, an early morning variety program; and Y-Speak, a youth-oriented talk show and debate forum, where he won his first KBP Golden Dove Awards for his Best Talk Show host in 2005. Ever wonder why after 17 years after his announcement that he tested positive for HIV in 1991, basketball legend Magic Johnson is still alive? (Not that we wished him bad though)..Well, there is actually a “temporary cure” for HIV/AIDS, a cocktail of expensive drugs that one must take everyday. But recently, a popular radio program in Minneapolis, MN, floated an idea that maybe Magic Johnson faked his AIDS to gain public sympathy.

During the October 8 broadcast of Minneapolis radio station KTLK, hosts Chris Baker and Langdon Perry of the The Chris Baker Show, Perry asked: “What about diseases that are eminently treatable and you can live with for a long, long time quite healthily if you just get some basic drugs?” Baker interjected, “like Magic Johnson,” to which Perry replied, “Like Magic with his faked AIDS.” After Baker asked, “You think Magic faked AIDS for sympathy?” Perry stated, “I’m convinced that Magic faked AIDS.” Baker replied, “Yeah, me too.” Perry added: “It falls apart when you get into motivation. I’m not sure why, but I’m pretty sure he faked AIDS. … Cause he’s the only cured AIDS guy ever.”

In response to KTLK radio hosts Chris Baker and Langdon Perry’s accusations that “Magic faked AIDS,” Magic Johnson issued the following statement:

“I am extremely disappointed in KTLK in Minneapolis. I am outraged that Chris Baker and Langdon Perry would minimize such a serious and deadly issue. Millions are dying from HIV/AIDS and the fact that they would make jokes about my status is unbelievable,” said Johnson. “Chris, Langdon and KTLK should use their power in a more positive light by encouraging people to get tested for this disease instead of making up such ridiculous lies.”

Indeed. Kaya kayo, wag ng matakot sa Kulam, mas matakot kayo sa AIDA! LOL..I think the Philippines has one of the most under-reported HIV positive countries in the Southeast Asian Region given the large OFW population. Take Care, don’t be so promiscous, gayahin nyo ang Jonas Brothers with their ‘purity rings.’

Rustom Padilla in drag. Rustom Padilla showed up in the Gawad Urian Awards all made up and dressed as a girl. Rustom Padilla said he dressed up as a girl to also prepare for a role. Of course, that is only a pretense, Rustom Padilla is out and proud to be gay, so i’m sure he relished his girl outfit! Rustom Padilla won as Best Actor in the 2007 Gawad Urian Awards.
