E! Entertainment has decided to put Dingdong Dantes on their list of the 25 Sexiest Men of the World 2008.  E! Entertainment is one of the largest and most popular networks in Hollywood. Some of E! shows like E! News and The Daily Ten are also shown too here and on free tv at that on SBN21. Last year, singer Charice Pempengco also made it in E! News.

Dingdong Dantes is the only Filipino celebrity to be included on the 25 Sexiest Men of the World2008 list. Dingdong will be featured in one of the special segments of E! through an interview.

E! also eyed another Filipino talent, but most of the E! network people rooted for Dingdong Dantes. The final choice came from the president of E! Entertainment, who personally chose Dingdong on the list.

The show is scheduled to air in the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2008. Aside from Dingdong, the 25 Sexiest Men of the World list also includes celebrities from other countries who are also considered sexy and popular on their chosen field as actors and sportsmen.

Aside from Dingdong Dantes, only David Beckham (UK), Gilles Marini (France), Kostas Martakhs (Greece), Michael Lewis (Israel), Dan Carter (New Zealand), were already chosen.

Startalk asked Dingdong his reaction on being chosen to be in E! 25 Sexiest Men of the World for 2008, “Actually, nung nalaman ko, e, natatawa ako dahil talagang never in my wildest dreams ko naisip na mapapasama ako dito. Na-appreciate ko siya and much more that napabilang ako sa beinte-singkong taong ‘yon, so isang karangalan sa akin ‘yon.”

What does he feel now that so many blessings had come his way?

“I’m very thankful talaga. Kumbaga, minamahal ko talaga ang ginagawa ko so that’s why siguro it loves me back,” a thankful Dingdong replied.

On Wednesday, August 27, Dingdong and Marian will stage a birthday concert billed as Let’s Celebrate: The Marian-Dingdong Birthday Blowout at the Araneta Coliseum. Are they ready for the concert since they just arrived?

“May mga rehearsal kaming naka-schedule bukas,” said Dingdong. “Gusto namin talaga pagandahin nang husto. Lahat ng mga numbers na hindi naman namin usually ginagawa, e, ibubusisi namin sa darating na araw. Very excited na kami!”

So what would the fans expect from this concert? Would Marian and Dingdong offer something new?

“Bihira naman kami mag-perfom sa ganoon klaseng paraan [stage],” Dingdong answered. “Since nakakita kami na umaarte sa TV, so this time parang SOP na pinahaba. Mini-concert ang dating”

In terms of going daring for the said show, who would take the spotlight?

“This time, siya,” Dingdong coyly said, referring to Marian. “Pero maganda naman. Mayroon siyang numbers na never pa niyang ginawa before. Ako naman, halos nagawa ko na dati, e, makakasayaw ako ulit.”

Since Dingdong and Marian said that they are going to watch KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez’s movie, For The First Time, are they going to invite them to their concert?

“Well, bakit hindi?” Dingdong replied. “Pero napag-usapan talaga namin ni Marian, by hook or by crook, we will watch their movie. And hopefully kasama din namin si Direk Joyce Bernal.”

Justin Timberlake or JT, also confessed to being a victim of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), a condition which often begins in childhood, with sufferers experiencing forgetfulness, distractibility and hyperactivity.

And the new David Beckham briefs ad campaign is still sizzling hot. The 33-year-old stud who is one of soccer’s greatest players have unveiled a mural at Macy’s San Francisco of himself in underwear. Using one of the David Beckham underwear images in the new campaign. The print version will be published in the August edition of Vanity Fair. It will also appear in sport, fashion and lifestyle magazines and on billboards in major cities aroud the world.

But allegations are ripe that David Beckhams’ bulge was stuffed or digitally enhanced for his Emporio Armani briefs ad. In comes his wife Posh Spice Victoria Beckham to his rescue.

She said, “I’m proud I still have a really good sex life with David. He is very much in proportion. He does have a huge one, though. He does. You can see it in the advert. It is all his. It is like a tractor exhaust pipe!”
