The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) announced the nominees of the 24th Star Awards For
Movies 2008, to be held on June 27, in the Henry Lee Irwin Theater, Ateneo De Manila University, Quezon City. The late Rudy Fernandez will be awarded a posthumous Ulirang Artista Lifetime
Achievement Award.

Here’s the list of nominees:

The 24th Star Awards for Movies will be shown via delayed telecast on ABS-CBN 2’s “Sunday’s Best” on Sunday, June 29 at 10 PM.

I had a mini-feud with Carlos Agassi when we we’re doing our double platinum rap albums(laughs…not true platinum)… (it had something to do with the lyrics to a rap song, where Carlos Agassi allegedly plagiarize Moe’s lyrics)

8 - What’s the farthest you’ve gone to check if a girlfriend was cheating?
I’ve hacked into e-mail accounts… I do it not only to girlfriends… also looked into a cellphone or two.

9 - How old were you when you lost your virginity?
I tried to lose it at 15. Tried but it was like I didn’t know what to do with it. It’s like opening the hood of your first car. Successfully by 17.

10 - Which do you consider the better TV station, GMA or ABS?
If I had to choose, it’s GMA… people are nicer there… more like family… ABS… I like it because of the TFC… it’s very strong abroad… it does a great thing… the TFC work is excellent.

11 - Have you ever gotten or almost gotten into a fist fight with a local celebrity?
Almost got into one recently. But the most serious one, it was with Jay-R. Because I went out with his GF when he told me not to. I was in the wrong. He forgave her, and told us not to do it again. But I did it again… The 2nd time, he got pissed… “I’m gonna kill you” type of pissed. He forgave me for the 2nd time… Now we are really good friends. She’s married now and lives abroad… I deserved an a** kicking but he was really nice about it. I’ve apologized a million times.
