Sarah Jessica Parker Fashion Faux Pas
Apparently, Sarah Jessica Parker had asked Mr. Olivier Theyskens if the gown has been worn and photographed before, and the designer Olivier Theyskens said no. But look at the pics of him and Lauren Santo Domingo. Isn’t this a ploy for publicity by Mr. Theyskens, knowing that Sarah Jessica Parker is one of the most photographed woman on earth and will surely create a buzz if she is caught wearing a dress worn before by another celebrity. Sarah Jesica Parker felt she had been deceived by both Mario Grauso, the president of the fashion division at Puig, which owns Nina Ricci and Theyskens, who met her in the studio and assured her that the dress had never been worn except for magazine shoots.
Sarah Jessica Parker did not let her displeasure to pass by saying that she was disappointed to learn that her Nina Ricci gown had previously been worn by Lauren Santo Domingo to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala on May 5. “My affection for the dress hasn’t changed,” SJP said. “But what they did was so short-sighted. It’s just unethical and disappointing that they would allow the dress to be worn again.”
And to add more insult to Sarah Jessica Parker, she also learned that before Lauren Santo Domingo wore the Nina Ricci gown, the gown was worn by Lindsay Lohan in a Harper’s Bazaar magazine shoot in March. Ugh..That dress would have been perfect and would have suit her character Carrie Bradshaw in Sex And The City The Movie.
