Zaijian Jaranilla is Santino in May Bukas Pa. Zaijian Jaranilla is seven years old and is the star of the top-rating primetime series May Bukas Pa on ABS-CBN. May Bukas Pa revolves around Miracle boy Santino who can communicate with “Bro” (Jesus) and how he touched the lives of people around him because of his faith.
Before playing Santino in May Bukas Pa, Zaijian Jaranilla played the role of the young John Prats in Komiks Presents Mars Ravelo’s Tiny Tony. Zaijian Jaranilla has done commercials for Mcdonald’s, Lactum and Tide. Zaijian Jaranilla used to watch Eva Fonda and its star Cristine Reyes is his favorite. Why? I love the show. Very inspiring ! I love Albert Martinez and Zaijian Jaranilla…very good actors.. from the heart. I will buy a lot of DVD’s of these teleserye episodes to give to people as special gift for any ocassion . I wish they have English subtittles so I can gift these to my American and Canadian friends.

Dapat malaman na ni santino and tunay niyang ama. Masyadong O A and role ni tilde. Nakakainis na and naging storya ng santino dahil maraming problema na ang pumasok masyadong magulo.Suggestion lang dapat mahuli at makulong na ang dapat makulong wag ng pahabain ang istorya. Marami ng naiinis d2 sa amin sa naging istorya na ng santino. Kawawa naman si santino sa istorya kaya paligayahin na ninyo siya.

i saw the film MARCELINO which the story of MAY BUKAS PA is patterned. The tagalog version is quite far from the original though the early part is somewhat similar. I guess ending of the story would also appear similar like Santino will die just like Marcelino also died at the end. The death of Marcelino is inspiring because he died on the lap of Jesus while in Santino it seems the child will die caused by violence. I couldn't understand why in Santino there is so much of violence towards the climax of the story. I hope this does not reflect the inner conflict of the writers. It appears that whoever are the episode writers are seemingly influenced by Ampatuan massacre. When i analyze the story now, it is no longer inspiring because the writer put the innocent child in an extreme cruel situation. It looks imbalance for a little and innocent child to be the target of tilde's vengeance and demonic character. its inproportioned for a child to be bearing and facing such a fate. I hope the writer will not destroy the title of the serye " MAY BUKAS PA" which speaks of HOPE that inspires viewers to trust God despite problems and difficulties in life. The media are powerful tools in forming values to viewers because they are considered second school for both young and adult. Think about it!

First of all i would like to congratulate ABSCBN for this teleserye i am not fond of watching bec most of the time hindi nakakatulong sa mga bata ang mga shows bec. most of the serye is kissing scene na dapat naman hindi. look at this show na Santino people realized the importance of faith of being closer to GOD AND IT ALSO MAKE PEOPLE LOVE SUFFERING THAT DESPITE OF HARDSHIP LAGING MAY MAGANGAN UMAGA AT KAPAYAPAAN.
