Sandra Seifert has been disqualified in the 2009 Binibining Pilipinas Pageant. Sandra Seifert would have been a strong contender for a major beauty title in the just concluded Bb. Pilipinas Pageant Night. Her disqualification came at the last minute, just before Pageant Night. The people behind the Pageant, the Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc. has deemed it fair to enforce their cardinal rule that a candidate should not have posed for an adult magazine prior to joining the pageant or face disqualification. In this case, Sandras Inez Seifert has been found to have posed for FHM and Maxim. Sandras Inez Seifert is also not new to showbiz, she is a former co-host of German ” Kuya Germs” Moreno in Master Showman Presnts: Walang Tulugan.

EGADS. BB Philippines is something that young girls want to be in the Philippines. The pageant doesn’t want young girls to get the idea to get in the pageant, its good to go via the route of Sandra and pose first for FHM. FHM pays high for sexy pictorials, and most wholesome models avoid doing pictorials for mens mag. Most commercial sponsors are clear they don’t like to put ads aimed at teens and youth in Adult mags. Kaya siguro Sandra knows FHM has the biggest circulation of readers ALL MEN! Yon ang audience ng FHM are men who want to see girls in sexy pose and Sandra should have admitted posing for Adult Mens Mags, kasi that was made clear to all the candidates. Pero she kept quiet, tapos one of the judges saw it on the internet. Well its the prerogative of BB Philippines to set their standards for their candidates.

She could have win Miss Universe or Miss World and she could be a huge revenue maker for The Philippines and Bb. Pilipinas Charities. It’s time for Stella to think like Donald Trump.

What’s racy about these pictures? Yung madumi lang ang utak at mga santong kabayo lang ang nagsasabi nito. May pa-moral -moral pa. Kitid utak naman o. Kaya tuloy mahirap tayo umasenso.

  9. carl on April 16th, 2009 3:35 pm

let us check the definition of racy:

    rac⋅y   [rey-see]
    –adjective, rac⋅i⋅er, rac⋅i⋅est.
1.slightly improper or indelicate; suggestive; risqué.

improper, suggestive.. well, the photo is that of a bikini-clad hottie published in a men's magazine.. and you don't see anything suggestive about that? sino ngayon ang makitid ang utak?

i'm not saying that Sandra is immoral or a b*tch.. It's just that, the pageant clearly has its rules and she clearly violated it. The rule is there for a reason and I think someone already explained it quite well:

" The pageant doesn't want young girls to get the idea to get in the pageant, its good to go via the route of Sandra and pose first for FHM."

Empowerment supposedly ng mga babae ang Bb. Pilipinas while men's magazines like FHMe, no matter how you put it, uses women as an object for fantasies, etc. Kung art yan or something, baka sa fashion magazine pa siguro na bikini picture.

And I do agree, maganda at smart ang dating si Sandra.. And to be honest, nakita ko na sya sa perosnal, and yes, ang ganda nya nga talaga – stand out.. pero to say na sayang, panalo na sana yan sa Ms. Universe or World.. well, ewan ko.. di lang naman yung ganda ang nagdadala e.. remember, Gloria Diaz and Melanie Marquez aren't exactly the prettiest (or the smartest) beauty queens our country ever had.. There's just something in them that we can't tell if the contestants now have it.. We just hope for the best that the winners of the pageant have this x-factor to win the crown in the international scene.

this BS conservativism is the reason why the P.I. is falling behind the rest of the world. we all want to be the ones to lay claim to virtue, prudence, blah blah blah….but all we show the world is how corruptible we can be. there are too many "rules" in pinoy society, that many find themselves having to be "themselves" behind closed doors. when are we gonna stop being so plastic and start being real?

and "racy" photos? "adult" magazine? oh please. we're not too far removed from making women 2nd class citizens and making them wear black robes down to their ankles, only showing eyes…if that is the case. if we ever want to remove the stigma of being categorized as 3rd world….i think it's time we get with the times.

Lets be happy that Sandra Siefart won Ms. earth and finally put an end to all the contraversy around her elimination. There are so many pageant queens wandering around doing bold roles and racy photos for mens magazines. WHO REALLY CARES? what matters in show biz is that you have the chutspah ( guts) to win. Sandra proved she is a fighter and didn't stop till she was vindicated.

i hope Bb Pilipinas will remove their swimsuit competition since it may be suggestive also to men and other minors watching it. if this "CARDINAL RULE" is strictly imposed…then what the heck that these pageants have this so called swimsuit competition?

  18. Indio on June 4th, 2009 8:51 am

A lot of people here seem to be greatly misinformed. Allow me to help you out.

    1. Sandra didn't pose for FHM. She shot those photos for her portfolio. And when FHM saw it, they were impressed and decided to release it. Had it been some other magazine that saw those photos first, they probably would've been used there.

    2. Sandra didn't know that the people from Binibining Pilipinas didn't know about these photos because they some of them were very much aware of her. They knew her. They knew the work she did.

    3. Binibining Pilipinas has a swimsuit competition, does it not?

    4. Female empowerment? In a competition that is all about being the "perfect" beauty? If you can figure out the irony in that, then you'd know why I'm rolling my eyes while typing this. =)

Yes there's a swimsuit category sa Bb. Pilipinas, but the point here is that when a candidate in a national beauty pageant poses for a men's magazine that is obviously classified as a soft porn mag, then that really makes her unbecoming. Napaka-hypocrite ng magsasabi that FHM or Maxim does not encourage masturbation among their male readers. There's sexy tasteful, and there's sexy trashy. A beauty pageant candidate may wear a sexy bikini on stage that leaves little to the imagination, but at least you know that she's being judged for her carriage and proportion, instead of posing suggestively in a men's mag for the pigs to ejaculate on.

Got something to say?
