Miss Philippines Earth 2009 Winners

It is sweeter the second time around for Sandra Seifert. Sandra Seifert whose roots is from Negros Occidental was crowned Miss Philippines-Earth 2009 on May 10 in colorful ceremonies at the Arena Entertainment and Recreational Center of the People in San Juan City. Sandra Seifert, also a shoo-in for the three main titles, was disqualified by Binibining Pilipinas when she posed sexy for FHM magazine. See the so-called Sandra Seifert racy photos here. The winner of Miss Earth-Philippines represents the Philippines in the Miss Earth Pageant, in which the current Miss Earth is Miss Philippines. Incidentally, Miss Earth is held annually in the Philippines. With this, it could be a bad omen for Sandra Seifert. Eventhough she is qualified, her win in Miss Earth could be seen by others as too much, given that last year, the host country also won the title.

Sandra Seifert will serve as the spokesperson for the Miss Earth Foundation, the United Nations Environment Programme and other environmental organizations during her reign. Grezilda Adelantar of Victorias City was named Miss Phillipines-Eco Tourism and Miss PAGCOR; Patricia Marie Tumulak of Quezon City is Miss Philippines-Fire and Miss Science and Technology; Michelle Martha Braun of Aklan is Miss Philippines-Air and Miss Philippines-Water is Catherine Loyola from the Filipino Community of Sydney, Australia.
