Sam Milby stirred speculations that he is transferring to GMA 7 when he was photographed in the set of of the hit GMA 7 show, LaLola. There were also speculations that if not a network transfer, Sam Milby could have been courting LaLola star Rhian Ramos, much to the consternation of JC De Vera and Rhian Ramos loveteam fans. Sam Milby clarified all these talk.
“I was in Alabang when Say Alonzo told me, ‘Sam, will you bring me some food?’ Matagal ko na siyang hindi nakikita, we’re close and we’ve been good friends nung PBB (Pinoy Big Brother) pa. I gathered some food and bought it there.
Nung dumating ako sa set ng Lalola, ayokong lumabas, ayokong bumaba. Say assured me not to worry. She even said, she’ll ask the EP. The EP naman said it’s okey, don’t worry daw. I went down, I finally met Direk [Dominic Zapata], I was sitting with Angelika dela Cruz. Pictures-pictures, then I ate, ganun lang,” Sam Milby said.
On Rhian Ramos, Sam Milby said:
“Yes, she’s beautiful, but I’m not saying anything about having a crush on her,” maingat na sagot ni Sam. “Hindi ko siya kilala, hindi kami nag-uusap. Wala akong contact sa kanya, kahit Facebook. Kahit phone number, wala.
That’s the only second time I’ve ever met her. I never have a contact with her, so it’s so funny na nanliligaw ako sa kanya. That’s not true, I just came there to visit Say coz I have’t seen her for a long time.
Malalaman naman nila na nandun lang ako to visit at maiintindihan naman nila na wala akong intention kay Rhian. Like I’ve said, I’m there to visit a friend. I didn’t have a contact with Rhian. I don’t talk to her, I don’t have her number at all. They won’t be seeing me that way ‘coz I’m not like that.”
On transferring to GMA 7, Sam Milby said:
“Hindi totoo ‘yan, hinding-hindi. I’m happy and contented with everything going on with my career right now. I’m very, very happy especially now, suwerte talaga ako and I’m very blessed with the movie na ginagawa namin ni Bea Alonzo, ang ganda ng script! I’m having a teleserye with Angel Locsin, so it was really, really such a blessing. I’m so, so happy!”
