The Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) through its Editor-in-chief, Jo-anne Maglipon, in a four-part investigative report about the whole Richard Gutierrez-Pep brouhaha mentioned another explosive news. It revealed that Richard Gutierrez owns three guns, with only two licensed and another one, the subject of the controversy having an expired license. Pep also emphasized that nowhere in their subject for litigation article that they said that ‘nagkatutukan ng baril,’ only a gun toting incident, in which it said it means ‘carrying a gun.’ Basically the four-part investigation result showed that the purported incident in Mark Reyes’ birthday party has not taken place, only the gun toting, which is the carrying of a gun, in which Pep claims its permit to carry has already expired at that time.
To qoute Pep:
A check with the Philippine National Police, Civil Security Group, Firearms and Explosives Division, showed that, indeed, Epy Quizon has no gun registered under his name. Richard Rama Gutierrez has three: a MPSTL 9MM INGRM, a PISTL 40 STI, and a PISTL 4O GLCK M23.
According to Witness No. 1, what he saw being taken from behind the seat of Richard’s car was a “silver 9MM.” At the time the witness mentioned the type of gun, none of us had any idea what an inquiry with the PNP’s Firearms and Explosives Division would yield.
Richard has Permits to Carry (PTC) these weapons. But while the license of Richard’s 40 STI is valid until January 21, 2010, and the 40 GLOCK M23 license valid until January 21, 2011, the 9MM is a different story. Its license expired on January 21, 2009 and, if the description of Witness No. 1 of the kind of gun he saw is accurate, then at the time the gun was spotted in the parking lot of Oceana, on March 29, it had not been renewed.
Pep apologized and declared that the incident could not be significantly substantiated so as to show that the alleged fracas happened. The question now is, will Richard Gutierrez withdraw the 25 million pesos libel lawsuit he filed against Pep, now that Pep has published this self-incriminating report? However, It does not also escape our thoughts and wonder why Richard Gutierrez would need all those three guns.

yung articles nila about anabelle rama na nakasisira rin. di nila inaalis sa main page nila. until some commented about it na kung bakit nasa top ang articles ni rama samantalang yung mga bago na articles nasa ibaba na at yung iba wala na sa main page?

dun lang ako sa ingram nagduda… bakit may submachine gun siya at saan niya gagamitin yun? isn't glock or STI effective to defend yourself with?
