Kapuso stars Richard Gutierrez and Aljur Abrenica had an altercation last October 17, at the posh Fiamma Bar in Makati City. The incident happened right after the ‘Experience GMA Show’ where the Kapuso stars, dressed to the nines, appeared as part of the inauguration of the 1 Billion-Peso GMA Network Studios.
Both stars are GMA’s prized possessions. Richard Gutierrez is known as GMA’s Primetime King while Aljur Abrenica is StarStruck’s Ultimate Hunk winner and was part of the no. 1 Primetime show, Dyesebel.
Eyewitnesses recounted that they saw Richard Gutierrez having a nice time with friends in a table. Sometime later, Aljur Abrenica entered the bar escorting young actress Jewel Mische, the StarStruck Batch 4 Ultimate Sweetheart and was rumored to have had a romantic relationship with Richard.
That was the time that the reported altercation of Richard with Aljur happened. Eyewitnesses saw distinctly how Richard gave Aljur’s head a short, quick slap. “Tinapik ni Richard si Aljur sa ulo!”
Aljur reportedly turned around, faced Richard, and demanded to know, “Ano ang problema mo?” Richard reportedly shot back, “Ikaw, ano ang problema mo?”
Nothing more untoward happened though as cooler heads intervened at just the right time.
Richard Gutierrez’ camp had released this statement to shed light on the alleged altercation:
Richard does not deny that there was some hostility between him and Aljur. In fact, he admits telling Aljur to “leave the table,” although Richard says he did this “politely.”

Richard denies, however, that he hit Aljur, even if he says he found Aljur distinctly lacking in “social graces.” Richard alleges that Aljur “barged in” on him and his friends, sat down, and drank with them when he was clearly “uninvited.”
Richard Gutierrez himself had this to say about the incident:
“Time management is what stars whose schedules are busy need to master, for it is during these moments of privacy that a star can unwind, relax, and de-stress.
“Unfortunately, however, a star like Mr. Aljur Abrenica, an acquaintance, does not seem to understand that stars need space too, and barging in on our table unexpectedly, sitting down uninvited, and partaking of the drinks freely, does not speak well of a person’s social graces.
“I politely asked him, after a decent time, to leave. That was what the incident was all about.
“Ms. Jewel Mische, if I may correct the report, was not at the Fiamma bar at all. And alas, neither was Ms. Mische the cause of the INVENTED rift.”

LACKING IN SOCIAL GRACES? A real gentleman does not mind sharing food and drinks with peers. You worked at the same network. If you throw the first punch, then you are lacking in social graces.
I see arrogance and not deserving the respect of educated fans.

it’s sad because i have a feeling that GMA will manipulate some stuff so that Richard won’t be put in a bad light.. although i refuse to believe richard’s statement… masyadong nilagay sa alangain si aljur at parang wala ng ginawang mali si richard..

APPARENTLY, I GATHERED FROM FURTHER READING ON PEP.PH, THAT RG AND JEWEL HAVE THIS ON/OFF RELATIONSHIP AND THAT TRIGGERED THE WHOLE INCIDENT. IF THAT IS TRUE, THEN THATS A SHAME. RG…STOP PRETENDING TO LIKE/LOVE KC INORDER TO FURTHER YOUR CAREER. IF JEWEL IS THE ONE THAT U REALLY LOVE THEN JUST ADMIT IT. I THINK PEOPLE WILL HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR YOU IF YOU WERE MORE FORTHCOMING.
i believe that both stars have their own statements about this and the truth will prevail, maybe not
now but for sure it will. Let’s not judge anybody at this matter. i like richard so much but i know that he’s not perfect and he may have done something wrong. Aljur, too, may have done something that have put them both in this issue.

I remembered some months ago, may binugbog ang grupo nina Richard. Nainterview pa siya ni Kris, eh inaanak pala ni Cris si Bryan Revilla, tinanaong kung kasama sa mga nambugbog si Bryan. Sabi ng binugbog, nandun si Bryan pero di daw nakisali. Kaya bumilib ako nun sa kanya. When Raymond saw this person kinabukasan(kilala pala talaga nila), he asked, “what happened to you?”. Answer niya, “Your brother did this to me!”. Natakpan din ang nangyaring yun pero nawala talaga ang respeto ko kay Richard noon pa. It is not kosher to anounce to the whole world who paid for what. Medyo may pinagmanahan si Richard. Annabelle cried and announced on TV that Richard paid for all of his dad’s medical bill.
The TRUE RICH do not discuss money and finances in front of people. They keep it quiet. Itong manga Gutierrez ay walang delicadeza. If you are a real gentleman, you do not announce to the world that someone stole your drink (if this is true). Likewise, you do not announce to the world who paid for whatever, like Richard’s mom Annabelle did with their medical bill. They can use some of their new found wealth and join a class in good manners and right conduct. Habang pinapanood ko si Ms Rama ay nanliliit ako. I feel like hiding under the couch. KAKAHIYA. . .
What I can say about Richard “BALE”, also “Simangot Boy” Gutierrez, he’s the worst actor I’ve ever seen in the Philippines. He cannot act, I don’t know why he call himself an actor. He’s even “BIDA”, for pete sake, can’t you get somebody else ??

he said he asked him to leave after some time…and he's an acquaintance….it's the same situation as when you're hanging out with friends at a restaurant and some girl you don't know at all who goes to the same high school as you do sits down with you guys and just start barging in on your conversations! you might be polite at first but if that person stays for a long time, ur gonna want to ask them to leave.
he didn't throw any punches, he said he didn't even touch him. and also, he is a celebrity and no doubt he has a busy schedule, and these are probably the only few minutes he can have to hang out with his intimate friends and talk about stuff, why the hell wouldn't he have a right to ask someone to leave? The way you talk about him is as if you've never set up a lunch or a dinner date with one of your closest friends for the longest time and all you want to do is talk to that person intimately. How would you feel if someone barged in on you and all of a sudden you can't tell your friends the things you wanted to tell her.
