Rhian Ramos to play Darna

GMA 7 is in search of the next Darna. Wilma Galvante, Senior Vice President for Entertainment of GMA 7 confirmed that they will again do another book in the Darna series with another young actress as Darna. Darna was a hit primetime show in GMA starring Angel Locsin.

Ms. Galvante said they are leaning towards Rhian Ramos to play Darna but Marian Rivera is also in the running although she is also considered for the tv remake of the mermaid tale, Dyesebel.

Darna Book Two and Dyesebel are all slated to be aired in GMA Kapuso next year.

   hay naku sige patayin sa trabaho yang mga talent nyo, eto namang gma network walang tigil sa kagagawa ng remake eh ano na naman kayang story ang gagawin nyo sa darna?

   Ano ba yan kaliwa’t kanan nalang ang remakes sa GMA! Gumawa naman kayo ng bago at original!
