R. Kelly Acquitted of Sex Tape Charges

R. Kelly was acquitted of all 14 counts of child pornography charged against him. The verdict came less than a day after the jury started deliberating. The judgment came six years after R. Kelly was charged with the offense which went on trial this year only. The case stemmed from the now infamous R. Kelly sex tapes, wherein R. Kelly videotaped himself having sex with a 13 year-old girl. Apparently, R. Kelly was acquitted of the child pornography case was because his attorneys used the defense that it was not R. Kelly himself on the tapes and was digitally altered to appear that it was R. Kelly in the tapes. The then 13-year-old girl also denied in court that it was her on the sex tapes.

And all i can say is, justice was not served. I have seen the R. Kelly sex tape, and even a moron could tell who is in that video. Moreso if it is a famous man such as R&B Superstar R. Kelly. And naturally, the girl in the video would deny too to protect her. In the video, R. Kelly is shown at one point pissing on the girl! So, if i were the girl, i would deny it too..hahaha..kaw ba naman ihian..well, it just goes to show that justice is not always served, even in the First World. But if it was in the Philippines, I bet R. Kelly would be crucified, even if there will be no video but only an audiotape..that’s how trusty Pinoys are with technology..
