Charice is a really good singer but I have constructive criticism for her. I think she is over using belting in her songs. Some of her songs can be sung in a simple way and will still come out good. Her facial expressions and movements while singing most of the time do not match the message of the song. I think she is doing this to impress the audience but I think it reduces the impact of her performance.

    overacting kid when she sings.

noticed Ellen degenerate’s face while this kid sang during her show… ellen was expressionless due to the fact that she notice this kid overreacting her moves and facial expression.

    she sings like KSP

i agree that she has to work more on interpreting the song… she has a very powerful voice, no question on that… but good singing is not just belting… singers should sing not to impress but to express… she is still young.. there’s still room for improvement… good luck charice! stay humble.. you’ll go far

I agree. She’s got a great voice, but it hasn’t quite matured until she hits 18. And what I’ve noticed is that when she’s doing those big notes, her voice doesn’t really come out loud and clear; it’s somewhat still constricted in her larynx so it sounds like her voice is coming through a vacuum.

And yes, watching her perform is tiring because of all her over-actions and -movements. Hopefully she’ll learn gradually and she’s got great potential in the years ahead of her.

Got something to say?
