Miriam Quiambao Engaged to Ardy Roberto
Miriam Quiambao and Ardy Roberto
is getting married
again soon. Miriam Quiambao is now engaged to Ardy Roberto
. In announcing their engagement on her IG account, Miriam simply captioned it: “1 John 4:18.” In case you’re wondering who Ardy Roberto is, he is the author of the best-selling books “Heart of Healing” and “Ang Pera na Hindi Bitin” and he also writes a column with his father Dr. Ned Roberto in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. He is also the co-founder with his late wife Tingting, who died January this year, of Salt and Light Ventures which brings John Maxwell over to the Philippines for speaking engagements. When people saw the photo of Ardy Roberto with Miriam Quiambao, many were surprised saying that he does not look “handsome,” to say the least. No date yet as to when their wedding will be held.
Miriam Quiambao has been married before, in 2004, to a rich Italian named Claudio Rondinelli. They were married in a beach wedding ceremony in Boracay and thereafter resided in Hong Kong. They separated two years later. In an interview on The Buzz in 2010, Miriam finally admitted that her then husband’s affair with a younger woman was what caused their marriage to fail.
Miriam Quiambao courted controversy in 2012 when she said that “Homosexuality is not a sin but it is a lie from the devil.” She was the first cover girl of the Philippine edition of Playboy Magazine. BTW, 1 John 4:18 says: “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” Photo credit: Miriam’s IG.
