Matt Giraud was saved by the Idol judges from elimination. The judges are allowed this season for a one-time save of an Idol contestant if ever that contestant gets the lowest popular vote but the judges feels he/she still deserves to continue and compete for the American Idol title. Joining Matt Giraud in the bottom three were Anoop Desai and Lil Rounds.

Since Matt Giraud was rescued by the judges this week, two finalists will be eliminated in next week’s disco-themed performances.

    i dont like matt, he doesn't have stage presence. but hu am i to judge him,,, nwei anybody can improve in the long run… go go go!
