GMA7 is said to be considering Marian Rivera to play the title role in their TV version of “Dyesebel.”

“Sana nga magkatotoo kasi fan din ako ni Dyesebel,” she says. “I
saw `yung ibang films na ginawa for her ng Regal with Alice Dixson
and Viva with Charlene Gonzales.”

If ever, who would she like to direct “Dyesebel”? “Siyempre, sina
Direk Joyce Bernal at Mac Alejandre din po. They brought out the best
in me in `Marimar’, so I’m confident they can make `Dyesebel’ another
hit.”
