Lucy Torres vindicated in shoplifting scandal

Lucy Torres is the newest endorser of retailing giant Rustan’s. Proof are the half-page ads in the Philippines’ leading broadsheets.

Some are looking at this development, that of Lucy being hired by Rustan’s to be its endorser as a testament that the alleged shop-lifting incident in its department store is just that, a wild rumor. For surely, Rustan’s would not hire anyone who shoplifts, much less in its store. Of course, Pinoys being of the intrigera type (look who’s talking,lol) thinks that this could be some exchange deal BECAUSE of what happened.

Speaking of the Lucy Torres shop-lifting scandal, it was rumored too that it was broadcast journalist Ces Orena Drilon who spread the rumor of the shoplifting.
