Laarni Lozada was declared the PDA Grand Star Dreamer in Season 2 of Pinoy Dream Academy in a colorful PDA 2 Dream Nights “The Awards Night†live from the Cuneta Astrodome. Laarni Lozada or formerly known as Laarni Losala from Mindanao garnered 651,696 votes. Bugoy Drilon or Bugoy Bugayong from Camarines Sur was the Second Star Dreamer garnering 549,760 or 29.70% of total votes cast. Miguel Mendoza was the Third Star Dreamer with 253,412 or 13.68% votes; Liezel Garcia was the Fourth Star Dreamer with 247,346 votes or 13.36% of the votes cast; Van Louelle Pojas or Van Roxas was the Fifth Star Dreamer with 113,065 or 6.06% votes and Cris Pastor was the kulelat (hehe) getting only 1.97% or 36,487 of the total votes cast.
Kala ko kay Miguel yung 1.97%.
magaling talaga si laarni,kasi maganda ang boses nya. Every performance iba-iba ang style nya..BUt i bet for bugoy, mas gusto ko syang manalo sa PDA ..

Kala ko din kay Miguel yun, pero talgang ginapang nila para lang talagang manalo. Suprisingly 5th si Van, i was expecting si Miguel kung di 6th, siya ang 5th place.

I just hope mentors, judges will also have the percentage in voting..Haleer look what happened..e.g. Liezel’s place.., di hamak na magaling cia kay miguel..Natalo lang sa boto kc may say si Miguel. And Laarni, only deserves third..Bugoy and Liezel should be the one battling for the 1st place,,…I liked Yengs season better… I might as well have the second thought to watch PDA season 3 if may kasunod pa kung ganyan lng naman mangyayari…Sayang lang pagpupuyat ko…. AHHHHHHH badtripp!

this only prove na ang mga manonood hindi bingi tulad mo….BUGOY sang really bad that night….siguro ang mali lang doon ay ang kay Miguel, problema lang ni liezel is that she doesnt have a strong fan base votes…unlike miguel na aside from his fans, may pera din para maka boto ang family. LAARNI is simply the best, a versatile singer and can really perform will…si Bugoy, dinaan na lang sa sayaw niyang barriotic!!!!

Yes, indeed, very well voted and more CHEERS FOR MS. LAARNI LOZADA, she deserves to be the PDA GRANDSTAR CHAMPION, a versatile singer with a wide range of voice (pwedeng or 4th pang-birit, pang-charismatic, pang-soul singer, at pang-opera singer pa din, Ms.Laarni is a very talented singer. I and my group of friends here in Riyadh and Khobar are very happy for Ms. Laarni. More power and prepare yourself for the biggest challenge in the showbiz world. For Bugoy, I doubt it, he is not a good singer, pang 3rd placer lang or 4th placer si Bugoy sa amin; (napakagandang song ang “climb every mountain song” pero minurder ni Bugoy ang delivery at lyrics nung song, for Liezl (hindi din namin alam kung saang place ilalagay si Liezl (kulang-na-kulang sa “L” at X-factor kung kumanta.

she deserves to win dahil magaling siya, mashado lang sinira ng pda ang personality niya sa mga tao sa pagpapalabas ng negative things about her. napahiya ang mga taong nangaaway sa kaniya and those that kept on pushing her down. nice ang naging ending ng show and we are all so happy. i agree to the other posts, hindi deserving si miguel sa 3rd — voice wise mas deserving si liezel.. but i dont care that much sa apat. sayang lang mas deserving si liezel sa price ng 3rd.

disappointed ako sa resulta ng mga boto! hindi deserving si miguel sa third place! pang 5th or 6th lang sya para sakin.. totoo nga yung nabasa kong blind item sa philippine daily inquirer dated september 14th, “biz insiders are concerned that UNTALENTED CONTESTANT would top this reality contest just because his dad is willing to spend hard cash for text votes. this almost happened in another contest that UC joined earlier, sources note. there’s also a rumor that UC’s relationship with equally UNTALENTED GIRLFRIEND is bogus. because he’s not hetero..” haayyy… dapat si liezel ang kasama sa top 3.. akalain mo ba namang talunin ng “palaging probationary scholar” ang 5-time star scholar. nakakawalang-gana!
Miguel doesnt deserve to be in the top 3..it shud be liezel,bugoy and laarni..niwey, Laarni deserves the title naman…but sayang talaga si liezel..bugoy had a bad performance..OA…napaka-oang-mountain range ang sayaw…haizt…
I will have a second thought in case of PDA Season 3…..sayang lang ang pagpupuyat…pera-pera lang pala! MIguel does not deserve in the 3rd place.Sayang talaga sana kay Liezel iyon!

While most of your co-PDA scholars (Im so sorry to express this) had the attitude of directly and indirectly putting you down (on whatever reason) , on those challenging and trying times you just showed that you’re still well and kind to them, brave, considerate and ready to face and adjust your personality to the world out there with your chin still up — up to reach for every scholars grandest dream. Really, you know God provides…
The television audience have seen your highs and lows, almost all of them even if some of those things that appear to be not really pleasant, but just the moment you present your part before your mentors, much more during each performance nights, you came to constantly deliver us a ‘new Laarni’, as a PDA scholar. Honestly, the quality of your voice never changes, it just always improves which really makes you stand out among other scholars especially among the Top 6 scholars. Your mentors however have really taken care of you, as I looked on it on one perspective. We remember you sang with teacher Von in one of your class and you just delivered your duet with him in outstanding performance and that I personally will never fail to looked upon and reminisce.

I agree with Jan, medyo OA si Bugoy sa performance niya…I have seen his reactions…he couldn’t believe that hindi siya ang Grand Star Dreamer..kc he was expecting to win…while Laarni wasn’t expecting to win..but she won because the public audience knew that she can perfectly sing than the rest…and it wasn’t biased…probably the mentors were not expecting for Laarni to win..coz their favorite was Bugoy..I was also expecting Liezl to make it to top 3…it should have been: Laarni, Bugoy, Liezl…congrats na din sa kanilang lahat!!!

it only shows that even if you’re good, there are people who are lucky enough to really get ahead. it happens, almost every time. though, the good news is that these people wont last. they will just have their 15 minute worth of fame and they will just disappear like drops. Talented peeps like Liezel are the ones who will make it in the long run. God Bless Liezel. It’s a shame that you didnt win.

although laarni hve ds unpleasant attitude inside the academy bt @ least d most important thing was dt she was transparent she did not pretend 2 b sum1 else & ol of us hv our own flaws, ryt.?Later nung paulit2x na ung pag-iyak i was kinda irritated bt i must admit cia ung ngbibigay ng challenge & excitement sa PDA kc npakagaling nya grabe ung quality ng voice very versatile & ung stage performance wagi. Even f she has dt low self-esteem bt when she’s on stage tlgang oozing w/ confidence. She nver fails 2 surprise me & i guess every1 every gala night. I always look forward 2 her performance every gala nyt compared sa iba na daig lng sa luks bt wla sa boses. I must say she really deserved the grand title. And we saw how she has improved in terms w/ her attitude tlaga.It was really meant for her.
