Even before shooting for the movie has yet to start, Batanes: Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan, it already has a playdate. It is slated for a November 28 release. Batanes stars Iza Calzado and Ken Zhu of F4.

Producer, Ignite Media and directors Adolf Alix Jr. and
Dave Hukom are sure that they will meet the deadline.

Shooting for the movie has been moved though since Iza Calzado is still shooting in Canada for the movie, The Echo with Jesse Bradford. Also Iza will first shoot a local Regal flick, Desperadas,a Filipino version of Desperate Housewives, because she has a commitment to have it finished first before Batanes.

Because the shooting has been moved, Ken Zhu’s arrival in the Philippines to shoot the movie has been moved from September 26 to the second week of October. This early, Ignite Media is preparing for the security arrangements involving the flick and the star, Taiwanese singer-actor Ken Zhu because apparently his fans from other Asian countries are planning to visit the country to see their idol personally. Talk about a tourism opportunity.
