Another juicy item coming out of the ABS-CBN compound is that TV Patrol World anchor Karen Davila is to be removed daw. Karen Davila is to be axed daw in all the ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs department programs she is hosting or is a part of because allegedly Karen Davila is a “spy” for GMA News and Current Affairs, the rival network and department of ABS-CBN. But isn’t it like years now that Karen Davila is with ABS-CBN? The rumors also pointed to an alleged angling by former TV Patrol anchor Korina Sanchez to again be the lone female anchor of the now called TV Patrol World.

Karen Davila used to work and anchor GMA News and Current Affairs department programs. She allegedly transferred to ABS-CBN to “reunite” with her husband, an employee of ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs. Oh well, TV News and Current Affairs departments are like the Showbiz world din! Full of innuendos and intrigues..

UPDATE: ABS-CBN just announced that Karen Davila will not be removed (yet, hehe) because her contract with ABS-CBN is until the end of 2008. And so Karen Davila will still anchor TV Patrol World and her Saturday morning show, Wonder Mom will even be increased from its current 30 minute running time to a full hour show. Meanwhile, Ms. Luchi Cruz-Valdez, the news production and current affairs head of ABS-CBN, has been placed under preventive suspension pending the outcome of an internal matter.

    I like and love Karen. Try to listen to her DZMM program every afternoon. You will be amazed by her wit and stand. She is also John Lloyd’s favorite tv anchor or journalist. That’s why I like her more than others.

    huwag mo pansinin mga intrigera…..insecure mga iyon kasi magaling ka.alam mo ba i watched all your tv programs(tv patrol/correspondent at wonder mom) sayang nga hindi na ine-air dito sa saudi ang wonder mom,ganda pa naman ng mga topics dun.Hindi ko pinalalampas ang tv patrol dahil sa iyo.

    it would be sad to se karen get sack but im sure she will always find happiness where ever she goes. shes a good host and a wonderful lady and no one can take that away from her. more power to her

    asus! hindi naman network ang hanap naming mga followers mo ehh..sabihin mo lang kung lilipat ka sa tv5, or gma7..isang pindot ng remote o pihitan ng radyo o tv, magkasama sama na naman ulit tayo, di ba?people like us are like lintang nakadikit sa iyo na! kaya chk nila kung hindi kami mawawala din sa census nila yung true census lang ha? hehe dont worry, nasa likod mo ang sambayanang tunay na nagmamahal sa tunay na public servicewoman (tama naman ako ahh..di ba?)
