Jolina Magdangal finds new love in the person of Rivermaya drummer Mark Escueta. Jolina Magdangal who is now 31 years old almost got hitched with fiancee Bebong Munoz, but that relationship fizzled out when Bebong Munoz failed in his political bid. Jolina Magdangal however, is not thinking of settling down just yet, saying she’s taking her time.

“Ibang usapan ‘yan, pero hindi pa naman. Maaga naman masyado pero hindi naman ako nagko-close ng door sa ganyan (marriage). Hindi na tayo nagpapa-sweet. Ang time ko darating yan at hindi naman tayo nagmamadali.” Jolina Magdangal also added that her parents approve of her choice of Mark Escueta.

Mark Escueta and the rest of his band, Rivermaya, meanwhile, is embroiled in a legal battle with their former manager Lizza Nakpil. She claims ownership of the band’s name while Rivermaya sued her for Estafa. Rivermaya’s new album has been pulled out from music stores as a result of the litigations.
