Both Ruffa Gutierrez and John Lloyd Cruz are in the US for different commitments. Ruffa for her birthday charity event and John Lloyd for his Star Magic World Tour show. BTW, Ruffa Gutierrez and John Lloyd Cruz share the same birthdate, June 24. On June 22, Ruffa Gutierrez and John Lloyd Cruz were spotted entering the swanky SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, a Philippe Starck-designed boutique hotel formerly known as the Le Meridien Beverly Hills.

On July 1, Manila Standard Entertainment Editor Isah Red published a photo of Ruffa and John Lloyd unobtrusively strolling along the high-end boutiques of Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills. They looked good together. And contrary to Chuvaness.com’s earlier pronouncement that John Lloyd Cruz became “baduy” after his breakup with Preview Fashion Editor Liz Uy, JLC looked dapper in short sleeved blue polo and black pants with black shades. Ruffa Gutierrez was stunning in white-petal trimmed dress and a blue Goyard bag in tow.
