Echo’s (Jericho’s pet name) own company, Silver Moon Productions, is producing the concert with Gary V’s GV Productions, Inc. (GVP).

Jericho is co-directing the concert with Gary Valenciano.

The concert is dubbed “Raw Energy,” as Jericho Rosales is really a raw talent in the concert scene. He hopes, though, that the concert will help transform him from merely being an actor to a certified musical artist.

Gary V. said he has no doubt that Echo will also make it as a singer.”Napatunayan na ni Echo in several of his movies that he is not just a good actor but a bankable one, too. This one (to be a singer) is another challenge which, I know, he will succeed in,” said Gary.

“Dito sa Pilipinas,” Echo hopes to be able to create his own identity as a singer.. “Kasi sa Malaysia, tanggap na ako bilang recording star. In fact, sa Malaysia ko ni-launch ang aking first 14-track album, titled ‘Loose Fit.’ I recorded all the songs, with ‘Tuwing Nakikita Ka,’ as its carrier single, with my own band, Jeans.”

In the “Raw Energy” concert, he will have his band Jeans accompany him as he dishes out a varied repertoire, from pop-jazz, alternative rock, funky and groovy hits of the ‘80s, to present favorites and his own compositions.

He might also do a medley of love songs with his real-life sweetheart, Heart Evangelista. Like Jericho, Heart also sings. Heart is also in the primetime soap, “Pangarap Na Bituin,” which stars Jericho, Sarah Geronimo, Maja Salvador and Rica Peralejo.

His family being from Bicol, proceeds of the concert will go to a scholarship program for Bicol through Shining Light Productions.
