With her manager being Becky Aguila, Angel Locsin’s manager too, expect Jennylyn Mercado’s star to fade. Projects for her are suppose to have been off for now and is going to other up and coming young actresses in GMA. Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig, a Sharon Cuneta flop in the 80’s is reportedly going to Glaiza De Castro or Nadine Samonte, with Yasmien Kurdi in the running too.

But Jennylyn Mercado is optimistic and is putting up a brave front. She is downplaying the possibility that her working relationship with GMA might be severely affected by the controversy involving Angel Locsin and manager Becky Aguila.

“Pareho kami ng manager, pero hindi ibig sabihin na pareho kami ng
problema so kailangan pag lumipat `yung isa [lilipat din ako]. Wala
talaga akong idea and ayokong mag-comment, ” said Jennylyn Mercado.

“Huwag naman sanang pati ako maapektuhan dahil [it's a] case-to-case
basis. Iba `yung situation niya and iba din `yung situation ko. And
happy ako dahil hanggang ngayon inaalagan pa din ako ng GMA and
nandiyan pa din sila for me,” explained Jennylyn.

As of press time, such Becky Aguila talents as Charee Pineda, Eunice Lagusad and Valerie Concepcion are the casualties on the conflict. Either their tv characters were killed/excused or their contract were not renewed.

    you know what i think jen should change her manager if she still wanted to remain in GMA..

    After knowing what BEKY is capable of doing…as in sobrang evil things…Jen should change manager!

    as i can see GMA now is taking revenge to angel and becky at the expense of jen, most of her shows are cancelled by the network..

    she has still contract to becky and GMA until 2009 kaya sya ang naiipit ngayon..

    if becky concern with jen’s career she release Jen voluntarily.. but i doubt becky.. she’s mukhang pera..

    Jenny should really change manager!

    It is obvious that this Becky Snake is mukhang datung!

    GMA, should not punish Jenny and some of her co-artists that is being handled by that Snake = Beckya!

    Suggest Jennylyn change manager. It would be hard for GMA to trust Becky…it would be hard to do business with someone you no longer trust. Since I’m sure Becky gets most of her earnings from Angel ( accompanying her to London even if Angel went there for a crash course in fashion design and abandoning her other wards) it would be best she releases Jennylyn to GMA. Jennylyn has no future ate ABS (super dami ng talents na walang work).
