Jamar Rogers robbed by American Idol

It is American Idol Season 8 and unfortunately no Filipino American was able to make it, none that we know of, although Jamar Rogers could pass up as one, and unfortunately again, Jamar Rogers failed to make the cut in the Top 36 of AMERICAN IDOL 8. Compared to Nathaniel Marshall and Nick Mitchell a.k.a. Norman Gentle who cannot absolutely sing, i think Jamar Rogers was robbed of American Idol Season 8.
Rumors said that Jamar Rogers was cut because he was also a Top 36 contestant in Season 3 of American Idol. Tough luck.
Jamar Rogers was TOTALLY robbed last night on American Idol. I’ve watched Idol for
years, but after last night, I’m seriously considering not watching anymore. Jamar
had one of, if not THE most, unique voices on the show, PERIOD. In my opinion, he
could have won the whole damn season. To put through idiots like “Norman Gentle” or
Tatiana the Shrieking Maniac instead of Jamar is not only a crime against true talent,
but an insult to viewers’ intelligence. AI has become more about stroking their own
ego and getting press (negative or otherwise), than it is about recruiting true talent.
American Idol blew it BIG TIME last night. Fricking stupid. All I can hope is that
Jamar gets signed regardless, and has success like Daughtry or Jennifer Hudson, who
didn’t win AI either.
I agree with yall. This is ridiculous! This kid has the whole package and sings with an arrangment like no other. I’m no longer a fan of this show…

I am disgusted that Jamar was let go. His originality and talent was something I was looking forward to watching every week. My cynical side says the judges or show producers chose to kick him off so they could say…”Here’s poor Danny still grieving for his deceased wife, and now without his best friend…can he make it?” I want to see Jamar back!

OMG!! WTF!? I was completley floored when Jamar was cut!!! I actually cried…. that was true talent and I can’t believe they didn’t even have him do a sing off if they weren’t absolutly sure. At best they at least owed him that much before sending him home! Jamar I know without a doubt you will make it.

Unless they’ve decided that American Idol is now more of a freak show than a talent contest.
i still do hope that such talented person as jamar rogers will be included
as a wild card choice in the later part of this search..calling the attention
of american idol researchers and producers!
I hate that this tactic will likely work to get people tuned in but I’m convinced they cut Jamar because he was the most obvious to make it through. People will be outraged, start petitions, get the word out and secretly hope there will be a wild card….and tune in next week to see.

After watching the top 36 – it is is obvious they cut the wrong guy JAMAL– I pray a record label saw him and he is picked up.
Its a week since they kicked off Jamar and Im still in shock. I thought for sure he was in it and out of all my years of watching idol this was def. the biggest mistake they’ve made. Im thinking there had to be a reason. Could it be they saw something bigger and better for him where they offered him a deal instead of going to idol. I mean it had to be. He was that good. Him and his best friend on the show where amazing. What a great friend he is too. the kid had his own thing going..style..looks and a great voice, I’m telling you..something wasent right…it didnt add up. But they didnt pick them so well this year..though i do like Norman and think he could bring his own to the show..crazy though.still cant believe they let him go..if you saw Seacrest ..he was even shocked when he said he didnt make it..Ryan was like…”WHAT!” Well..we’ll see..he might come back..I’d def. vote for him
I can’t believe Jamar was drop already he was and is one of the most promising for the show, what a mistake …….God bless to you Jamar I know you will do great things looking forward to hearing alot more from you and seeing you at the grammy’s one day what a beautiful voice and way of singing

I could not believe it either. Jamar was excellent in his version of Delila. I believed danny and Jamar would of been the top two contestants. Of course the show was fixed I was so mad. Jamar was simply amazing. How could they possibly kick him off and then ask if he would come back next year. You are all right in assuming that they did not want the two of them competing on the same show they are going for ratings with losers like nick or norman whatever the hell his name is. i’ve been watching idol for years but when jamar got cut that was it. i haven’t watched the show since and won’t ever again. But we shouldn’t be surprised. AI represents exactly what is wrong with the music industry. Mediocre, sound alike talent with no originality!!!
Let’s be real American Idol is so bogus.How can you cut people like jamar rogers and keep people like gentle norman who could[‘nt sing his way out a bag.Other than big ruben when has a true black male been considered on Idols top 25. You mean to tell me theres not one true soul singer to win this competition thats not female.
