Hayden Kho Indicted Over Video Scandals

Controversial cosmetic surgeon Dr. Hayden Kho has been indicted by the Department of Justice (DOJ) for violation of R.A. 9262 or the Violence Against Women and Children Law, stemming from his scandalous videos with several female celebrities among them Katrina Halili, Maricar Reyes and a Brazilian model. The DOJ endorsed the filing of a case against Hayden Kho in the Pasig City Regional Trial Court based on the merits filed by the prosecution comprised of representations of Ms. Katrina Halili and several feminist groups. The DOJ said the videotaping and its subsequent publication which is of a private tryst, shows lack of respect for women by Dr. Hayden Kho. The alleged co-mastermind of the publication of the scandal videos, Dr. Vicki Belo, ex-girlfriend of Dr. Hayden Kho, has been acquitted, so does the other alleged accomplices Drs. Eric Johnston Chua, Princess Marie Velasco and Mark Herbert “Bistek” Rosario, had all been cleared of all possible involvement in the criminal case.

Dr. Hayden Kho admitted recording the scandal videos but denies publication and dissemination of those. A subsequent National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) operation arrested Fidel Lazarte, Joebert Lazarte and Marvin Lazarte, owners of the racy website, Flesh Asia Daily, on charges that it was the first website to upload the Hayden Kho sex videos and therefore the source of the videos. On their part, the Lazarte’s explained that the racy videos was only sent to them anonymously via email and which they in turn published.
