Enchong Dee is to graduate this June from the De La Salle University, Manila for his Developmental Studies course. In case you’re wondering why June when the Philippines graduation time is usually March, De La Salle University is a trimester scheme university, meaning the usual two is divided into three trimesters in any given year. That being said, Enchong Dee aside from just graduating from De La Salle University missed by just a hairline according to him from graduating with Latin honors, yes, as in Cum Laude. Not to mention the fact that Enchong Dee is also a champion swimmer of the university’s swimming team. De La Salle University in fact is to bestow Enchong Dee the award, “Athlete Of The Year” plus several other recognition awards come June 11, 2009 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), when La Salle Taft holds its commencement exercises. The quest for knowledge does not stop there, Enchong Dee plans to pursue a Mater’s Degree after his college graduation.

Enchong Dee’s college graduation is all the more a feat considering that it is on top of all his showbiz commitments. Enchong is a member of the Star Magic all-male group Gigger Boys—comprised of himself with Robi Domingo, Dino Imperial, Sam Concepcion, Arron Villaflor, AJ Perez, and Chris Gutierrez—together they will headline the cast of the upcoming ABS-CBN show, Your Song Presents: Boystown.

Enchong Dee is also included in the stellar cast of Nasaan Ka, Maruja which is headlined by Kristine Hermosa with Derek Ramsay, Karylle and John Estrada.

happy graduation enchong… having a degree will give you much more dignified life than showbiz… go ahead conquer the corporate world… you deserve more than just acting out lives that do not belong to you but to the minds of moronic writers in the local showbiz industry.

Your post needs a minor editing. Graduation honors at DLSU are not in Latin, and ergo, in lieu of Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude and Summa Cum Laude, they have their honors in English. To wit: Gold Medal (With High Distinction) and Silver Medal (With Distinction)–apparently there is no bronze award.
