Edu Manzano

Edu Manzano has resigned as chairman of the Optical Media Board (OMB) citing three reasons in doing so namely: “to consider other avenues of public service, to attend to personal tasks and to help in the anti-child pornography campaign.” Malacanang Palace meanwhile said that Actor and TV host Edu Manzano is presently serving on “hold-over capacity” since his original appointment was only up to March 5, 2007. Edu Manzano is host of the ABS-CBN noontime game show, “Pilipinas Game KNB?”

Some sectors are saying his latest move is just part of his reported plan to run for the Senate. The administration has offered Edu Manzano a slot in its senatorial slate in the 2010 Elections.
