The showbiz connection also cropped up in the Senate. Of course, everyone came across the name Dodie Puno or Dody Puno, when he was linked with Gretchen Barretto. The cause of the Gretchen Barretto linkage came up when allegedly, long-time domestic partners Gretchen Barretto and Tonyboy Cojuangco separated because of him. The rumor further turned into a soap operatic when allegedly Gretchen was forced by Tonyboy out of their Dasmarinas Village mansion when he found out about the Gretchen-Dodie affair.
