The TV network war is far from over! The pre-programming shows are in very stiff competition. In the morning block, Diz Is It is GMA-7’s answer to the fledgling Showtime. Diz Is It is the actual replacement to the long-running “Sis” of Janice De Belen, Gelli De Belen and Carmina Villaroel. Diz Is It is hosted by Bayani Agbayani, Ehra Madrigal, Sam YG (also known as “Shivaker”) and Grace Lee. The Diamond Star Maricel Soriano will be its celebrity judge. Diz Is It is a talent and game show rolled into one. Basically, Diz Is It is of the same format as the popular Showtime. Diz Is It premieres tomorrow.
In the primetime pre-programming block, Tanging Yaman starring Erich Gonzales, Enchong Dee and Ejay Falcon, is pitted against “First Time” starring newcomers, 12-year-old Barbie Forteza and a former Kapamilya, 14-year-old Joshua Dionisio. First Time will also premiere tomorrow. It is directed by Andoy Ranay of the ABS-CBN’s Prinsesa ng Banyera controversy with Kristine Hermosa.
