David Archuleta Mania in Manila

David Archuleta is taking Manila by storm. From the time David Archuleta arrived at the airport to his live guesting in the morning show, “Sis” today, the Filipino fans can’t seem to get enough of him. So does his guesting in Eat Bulaga this noon. The Broadway Centrum where Eat Bulaga was held could not accomodate the David Archuleta fans who trooped to the venue that fans were turned away and contented themselves to wait outside the venue. Yesterday, David Archuleta and David Cook were also mobbed at the humongous mall, Mall Of Asia, in a promo appearance for their May 16 major concert tour date at the SMX Grounds. American Idol 2008 winner David Cook also gets a fairly good amount of fans adulation but for majority of the Filipino audience, it is David Archuleta who is the American Idol (and Philippine Idol?) for them.
Yes, he is heading to be the world idol for all. He was a rare surprising contestant on that idol show.
No one can compare. No adam, chris or danny. Even cook. Idol had him in their hands and they gambled him away for their own political reasons. Too bad. Now it's "In your face Simon!"
